Works very well! I bought it with the expectation that I would have to mod it to work with the Anycubic Kobra S1 and I did. All I needed to do was make the 3 pole switch either HIGH or LOW instead of just open or closed. I then connected the wires to the printer and it worked flawlessly! It took some research and setting up but not as much as I thought it would.

This sensor really saves prints. I tried to print some dragon using Silk PLA and I failed three times due to clogging. I decided to upgrade my printer and install this sensor and for now it paused my prints three times due to clogging but I was able to resume printing after clogging. So I'm continuing to print. Minor issue with sensor - you will need to mount them - I found the custom mount compatible with my print head (ender sprite pro) and printed them. P. S. The above is definitely a filament issue. I printed a lot without any clogging but glad to see I'm able to overcome filament clogging issue with this sensor.

I have had two of these defective right out of the box. I would not recommend. The first one the encoder would not work consistently. I spent hours trying to figure it out until I replace it and the replacement worked fine. The second unit the switch circuit would not function. Unfortunately, my current setup and programming is designed to use this product. But, I will be redesigning to use something of higher quality.

I used to have a filament sensor that was made from an old endstop that seems to work half the time. this new btt filament sensor works everytime, it also doesnt matter what direction you feed the filament in which is a huge plus as my old one only let me feed it in 1 direction. It only took 5 min to install including the coding i had to do for klipper!!!!

I had really high hopes for this sensor. I installed it and initially had pretty good results. Unfortunately, shortly after I installed it, the sensor started throwing all sorts of random errors when printing at higher speed. Multiple prints failed due to the sensor throwing an error saying filament had run out while it clearly still had filament in it. I worked through all diagnostics with BTT, I also completely disassembled the sensor because it was possible some filament dust could have disrupted the sensor. After completely disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling it the sensor worked a little bit better. Unfortunately though it started throwing errors after 1 print. After really trying to make this work I found I could not get a consistent result with this sensor. I had to remove it because randomly failing prints was causing too much frustration for no real value. I would steer clear of this sensor and just build one with an end stop sensor, a ball bearing, and a housing running the filament through it.
