File box finish is not good enough
Bought this file box to store important documents. Unfortunately it’s not worth the money. The lock is difficult to close and opens up by itself when I use the handle to lift the box. The finish on the interior is shabby, blistered paint on the base. Can’t recommend it.

Useful
Ordered about a week ago. Was the perfect size for what I needed. Very sturdy and can hold a lot of weight. Lock is slightly faulty as you have to push lid in for it to lock properly, however still locks and is very useful.

Cathedral metal A4 file box is exactly as displayed and very sturdy and practical in all ways.
No dislikes used for personal papers and extremely accessible for reference purposes. Good value for money.

Not brilliant
It takes files, thats pretty much as good as it gets. The lid attaches to the main box via a tiny little lock when closed. The carry handle is attached to the lid, so guess what happens when you lift the box by the handle..? Not a great design, but probably a great example of ‘you get what you pay for’.

I would def recommend this. Ordered an extra pack of dividers to go with it. Plenty of room for private paperwork and even some space on the bottom under the files for a few personal items .... Key and lock are good. Good very sturdy box. Good handle too.
