What size is the hat? My husband wears a 7 7/8 size fitted cap , would it fit his head ?

Yes the hat is adjustable, if you’re buying it for cooling, your ok. But the hat is flimsy and looks terrible on your head.

I have a 24 inch head size. How come no one puts size info on any of these hats?

It is snug on a 22 inch head, leaving a little mark after wearing it a while.

What materials is this hat made from?

It is a synthetic fabric that absorbs water but allows the water to evaporate. It does actually cool your head. The bill is supported by a synthetic also. I have whetted the hat several times with a water hose and the bill retains its shape really well.

How many hours does the cooling effect last? Does this wet your head and hair when wearing the cap?

It depends on the amt of moister on yr cap. It basically wick away the moisture on your cap (could be your perspiration or you deliberately wet your cap). The wicking process to make you feel cool.
