Good deal!
I haven't cut anything with it yet... ...so I am just going to cover basics. Fit and finish is very nice. The handle scales mate up to the knife tang flush. I don't see any gaps anywhere. The handle while not to big, is not to small either. Nice usable handle that doesn't leave the pinky finger dangling in the air. The knife locks into the sheath nicely... ...solid retention. The sheath clips around the belt securely. I like this. The belt attachment can be removed and placed on the other side for left handed carry. With the belt attachment you can only carry traditionally on the belt... ...you cannot rotate for scout carry. The blade looks and feels to the finger to be reasonably sharp, so OK for most people and tasks... ...however for some of us, it's going to need to be touched up. Umm, just a very little straw coloring on the tip of the blade indicating that it got a little hot when sharpening. It's probably fine and won't be if an issue. No gimping for where the thumb goes on the back of the blade... ...it would have been extra nice had gimping been there. Overall, the blade is very nice and hopefully this is indeed D2 steel with good heat treating. For the price, I would say it is a good deal!

Value to Quality = Good deal - Good knife
Nothing to dislike, period - Appears to be a quality knife. It's a bit heavy, good angle and sharp. The handle is great and I like the sheath. No visible control issues at all. Sounds silly but I would like a D2 stamp somewhere on the blade but... it doesn't have "china" stamp either so... cool. YouTube seems to like the knife, if that matters. I used it a bit and so far... it holds an edge and seems solid. For the price, I happy with the purchase.

Excellent value for money.
Solidly built knife that comes fairly sharp. Extremely comfortable in hand with good fit and finish. Sheath is real lured and seems well made. My only complaint is the lack of jimping on the thumb ramp. It would make an excellent back up fixed blade or pocket fixed blade if you swapped the tek-lock style clip for an ulticlip. Otherwise it is excellent value for money.

Small, Comforable and Useful, But Not Too Small, Fixed Blade Knife!
Very happy with the knife. It has a great design and fits well in the hand. The fit and finish is very good and with D2 steel with kydex sheath, a very good deal! This is a very functional design and it is useful for many tasks from hunting to have a knife for work. This is not a knife to expect to chop down a tree with. It will be useful for cleaning game and making feather sticks to make a fire and other type tasks. Not quit the right design for cleaning fish and fowl but would get the job done if needed. Can be used as a neck knife but might be a little too heavy for some. Wearing on a belt or attaching to a harness would be best for most people. The sheath has very good retention and should not be concern about knife falling out. The knife came sharp but not very sharp. As with many D2 knives, D2 sometimes does not like to get a super polished edge such as finishing with a ceramic stone or rod to finish touching up the edge. In sharpening D2, using rough to finer grit diamond stones and finish lightly on the edge with at least a 3000 grit diamond stone and leave it as that. Seems to work best for me. The edge with be sharp enough to shave hair but it leave enough edge that D2 likes with that toothy edge finish with a good bite. The blade would have been better if there was a choil but a choil is something I can add later. I am not going to mark down the stars for lack of a choil or the normal sharpening issues that comes with some steels such as with D2. The knife is of very good quality and will be a useful tool for me going forward. I think you would be very happy in purchasing this knife if you need a smaller fixed blade that is very comfortable in the hand. Currently the cost of this knife is just over $17 and a real bargain. Get one at this low price before the price goes back up!

A GREAT value! Simple but aesthetically stylish.
A good value for cost, downright amazing value if you catch it during a price dip. This is a very slightly smaller than average fixed blade knife. If you have large hands, you may find yourself wishing for another ¼” of handle length, though average hands will find it quite comfortable and form fitting. The knife is simple, but the aesthetic Kukri-ish recurve styling elevates it above other similar plain-Jane knives. The blade stock is a bit thicker than you’d expect, so it feels sturdy in-hand, though not heavy. The entire tang of the knife is chamfered and gently polished. The fact that the entire tang protrudes slightly above the sandwiching handle scales usually indicates poor fit and finish. But in this case, the polished chamfering of the steel becomes an intentionally attractive design feature. Comfortable, not edgy. The chamfering ends at the blade spine’s upturn for its slight harpoon shape, so you still get some 90-degree angles on the blade spine for ferro rod use, if you’re into that sort of thing. The handle texture is grippy and gently textured, not rubbery, and it doesn’t feel cheap. Blade is reasonably sharp but was a bit roughly ground close to the handle because of the recurved blade shape. The sheath fits well and holds the knife OK, but the knife doesn’t snap into place. It’s more of a snug fit that holds the knife, not a secure snap-in-place. I would definitely not feel confident in carrying the knife upside down, nor would I feel assured with a horizontal carry.

Good quality knife all around, collected knives for 35 years so you know its good.
Great Knife, sheath and clip system. Knife appears to be made of good quality D2 tool steel as listed and is full tang.blade was shaving sharp out of the box. Perfect grind on the back for ferro rod if needed. great thickness for any bush craft task you may take up and this knife could probably handle significant abuse. I love the kukri blade style. I have a few larger "knives" in this style and wanted one i could easily Edc and use for daily task without freaking people out too much. I have larger hands and the grip is Perfect, so no lanyard needed. I probably wont be trying to throw this knife due to the shape so i have not checked its balance. The sheath is great. solid construction with many many mounting options since you can adjust the clip system or use para-cord/rope in the holes to mount it anyway you wish or even use it as a neck knife. the sheath has great retention with absolutely Zero movement. very good construction and high quality all around. The grip could have a bit more grip too it but that can be fixed or modified easily enough, temporarily by a handle wrap/tire band etc or permanently with engraving/etching or a simple wood burner/soldering iron to add checkering. That said its not a big issue and i knew the handle style going in. I plan to purchase more knives from REAT in the future and i'm glad i discovered this manufacturer. Highly recommend this knife,if its the type of blade you are looking for. or if you just want to pick up another for your collection. thanks for reading hope this review helps somehow. have a great day and get outside and enjoy nature.

Nice ergonomics, sharp, EDC!!!!
I love this knife and its just the right size for EDC. It fits perfectly in my hand, the sheath is secure, and it feels nice when I'm getting in and out of my truck. It comes sharp out of the box. It was also the right price and after reading through a few other good reviews, I didn't mind the purchase. I think I'll be giving their other blades a try soon.

Calidad precio.
