I can't really add anything new to the comments other than to say that this is a really great projector - especially when paired with an ALR screen. It was excellent enough with a matt white screen, but the ALR one makes the image pop, especially with the high contrast and deep blacks. It's not cheap, but I didn't want an enormous TV hogging the wall in my living room like a refugee monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. A large flat grey ALR panel is much less intrusive. The native Google TV OS is good, but doesn't support BBC iPlayer, so I tend to use the projector with my Alexa Fire TV 4K Cube. The optical zooming and automatic keystone features are a wonder to behold - no manual tweaking required. The onboard sound is also very good, but I use Bluetooth to pair the projector with a surround sound system.

As others have said, the projector is first rate and I'm completely happy with the picture quality and quietness when in operation. The weakness is the remote control. Initially it feels 'quality', on use the flaws are obvious. 1: Not all the keys are illuminated; 2: The volume control buttons (unilluminated) are the same size as others (small) and hard to identify by touch; and 3: it has 4 pre-programmed buttons for Netflix etc - none of which I have - but no quick way to change between the HDMI/USB inputs. I'll be looking for a decent remote to solve this. It's also a shame it's not Home Assistant compatible. If I could knock 1/2 a star off I would, but the picture is good, that I'll still give it a 5.

The quality of the picture is phenomenal, my 4th projector and my 2nd laser 4k. The black levels and the contrast overall is unbelievable. After reading many reviews my expectations were very high, but this projector did not disappoint. I have a very specific set up with a Denon 7.4.6 full atmos and IMAX enhanced sound. So the flexibility that this projector offers means I was able to slot this projector into place exactly in the alcove I had set up for the last projector. As this is in a dedicated cinema room I have full light control so can have absolutely no light if needed, but with the Valerion that isn't a requirement as it works perfectly well with high levels of ambient light. The projector itself looks fantastic, as does the remote, the remote allows for full control over the AVR and any other media system connected via the eArc. This projector is highly recommended for anyone serious about having a real cinema experience. I believe that this projector beats many projectors at much higher price points. I can't speak for longevity as it is only in use a few weeks, but it does come with an additional years warranty when your register the product. I would also recommend the official ceiling mount as the projector is heavy and the mount itself very good looking and well engineered like the projector itself. Excellent 4k quality projector. It is like watching a 150"+ TV. It's not watchable in bright daylight in my living room but on a dull day it's reasonable. In a dark(ish) room, it's fantastic (for the price). I had a few problems setting up Wifi so I plugged in a cable from the router. The setup was simple from that point. As yet, I've been unable to get the BBC iPlayer app to work (I need to raise a support ticket for this) but can watch iPlayer through the web browser. Other than that, all common apps work perfectly. The sound is reasonable through the built-in speakers but a Sonos system connected via Bluetooth is a big improvement. Google TV responds very quickly via this projector. Overall, this is a fabulous bit of kit.

I rarely post reviews, but in this case, I thought things were pretty exceptional. This was bought as a business purchase for an ability to have a portable 4K projector solution for all of my presentations for work. It comes in a heavy duty foam carry case which is extremely handy. However, for anyone consider considering buying this product for personal use, I am sure you’ll be pleased with this. The picture is bright and crisp, the focus is quick and sharp, the dark detail is great, the auto Keystone is pretty much bang on unless you’re doing strange things like pointing it at the ceiling. In which case, the manual Keystone does just fine. Daytime presentations even without a dedicated ALR screen was fine for most projects on any white wall. The sound for demo videos was pretty great too. Great IO options. The separate Gimbal works well and comes with a spare bolt. The only thing I’d say is it might be a little bit too bright if you were considering it for bedtime movies as it will probably disrupt your sleep. I believe and hope the company is working on this to provide a firmware solution so that you can dim the light source for better eye comfort. So that is just one star less to encourage the company to keep working on the updates. Otherwise it would be a full five stars. Do remember it is a laser projector so kids need to be supervised to not look into the beam.

Great projector. We replaced our Epson home cinema projector and couldn’t be happier. The picture is crisper and the lasers make it much brighter, it still looks great even when the overhead lights are on. We were initially concerned that the lumens were significantly less, but it’s just the difference between bulb to laser technology, with the lasers being superior. Setup was easy and we used the mount that was available for free with purchase of the projector. We use it with an Apple TV 4K.

Rewelacyjny projektor. Rewelacyjna jakość rewelacyjna jasność. W zaciemnionym pomieszczeniu wygląda jak ogromny telewizor. Minusem jest to że ma tylko jedną śrubę do mocowania sufitowe, a przez to nie jest stabilny i bardzo trudno go precyzyjnie ustawić względem ekranu. Valerion powinien pomyśleć o przygotowaniu profesjonalnego uchwytu sufitowego dlatego projektora.

Out of the box, the Pro 2 projector looked solid and of premium quality. Great Picture quality, easy to install right out of package. My first projector, upgrading from a 65 inch TV the visuals are stunning. Sound is OK, I use it with my 5.1 system through eARC so comparison is not really relevant, I found the speaker to be clear and sufficient for general watching. Projecting on white wall with no screen with the projector on coffee table, am happy with the image quality. Required a little manual keystone correction as not using a screen but was a breeze. Using in a room with some ambient lighting and day time use also is very good with laser illuminance of 4. Apple Home working perfectly. Apple TV native app seems a bit sluggish, Netflix, prime and YouTube are very responsive. I personally don't see any rainbow effects. Fan noise is not noticeable. Initial days some slight odor was noticeable with slight irritation to nose which went away after some hours usage. Remote looks sturdy and is user friendly. Not a gaming person so did not try the performance in gaming. A handle could have helped with the portability.

Meine Bewertung Ich möchte zu Beginn sagen, dass ich den Pro2 nur als Heimkinoprojektor brauche und ihn für diese Zwecke gekauft habe. Ich verwende weder Apps noch sonst was mit Streaming zu tun hat. Ich bevorzuge einfach die UHD Disc. Bevor ich mein persönlichen Eindrücke teile, möchte ich auch erwähnen, dass ich das Tonmapping über einen Lumagen Radiance Pro mache. Mir ist bewusst, dass dieser Bildprozessor fast das 3 fache vom Pro2 kostet. Der Valerion ist kein Projektor den man einfach auspacken und aufstellen sollte! Man kann das Tun, aber dann verschenkt man sehr viel Potential!!! In den vergangenen Jahrzehnten habe ich Unsummen für wirklich Highendige Projektoren ausgegeben (JVC, Sony, SIM2…einen Barco Bragi hatte ich zum Testen) und ich weiss was diese Projektoren können……. Zuerst möchte ich über das Design sprechen. Aus meiner Wahrnehmung ist der Valerion der schönste Projektor den ich je besessen oder gesehen habe (unabhängig vom Preis) Der Auftritt ist auf das Minimum reduziert, überlegt und von den Proportionen her sehr stimmig! Damit können sich auch die meisten Frauen anfreunden. Das Erste was einem auffällt ist wie unglaublich leise er läuft!!! Kein Vergleich zu einem Sony, JVC oder einem echten Heimkinoprojektor. Mit der gegenwertigen Firmware hat die Lüftung noch ein kleiner Fehler, die im kommenden Update behoben wird. Dann wird es die Schwankungen der Lüftergeschwindigkeiten nicht mehr geben. Wenn er normal läuft, fast unhörbar (auf der maximalen Helligkeit). Das ist das nächste: er ist extrem hell!! Wirklich hell! Dieser Projektor ist aus meiner Sicht der Start einer neuen Generation. Denn er zeigt den Käufern wie kein zweiter, dass die Messwerte eines Projektors bei weitem nicht 1:1 die Bildqualität zeigt. Der Pro2 hat einen Kontrast von ca. 1600-2000:1 (je nach Zoom) aber was er in Kombination mit der EBL Schaltung und aktive Contrast auf die Leinwand bringt ist wirklich atemberaubend! Ich frage mich immer wieder habe ich das in der Vergangenheit schon mal so eindrücklich gesehen??? Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher nein!!! Denn diese Kombination der Helligkeit zusammen mit dem EBL was einen erstaunlichen Schwarzwert zaubert und dem Bild eine Krafft gibt ist schwer in Worte zu fassen! Auch die Zwischenbildberechnung finde ich echt Klasse! Wenige Fehler super Flüssig, und trotzdem noch filmisch. Was die meisten vergessen, ist die Farbwiedergabe eines RGB Lasers! Die ist satt hell und wenn richtig eingestellt absolut natürlich! Die Schärfe meines Beamer ist eine Augenweide. Obwohl dies nur ein «shifter 0.47» ist auf der Leinwan jedes pixel zu erkennen! Das habe ich so auch noch nicht gesehen, vor allem nicht zu diesem Preis. Ist der Pro2 der Perfekte Beamer??? Nein ist er nicht! Aber er hat so viele Stärken und sogar die DLP typischen schwächen sind so gut optimiert, dass das Gesamtpaket aus Optik, schärfe, schwarz und Betriebsgeräusch so gut ist, das die Highend Firmen sich extrem anstrengen müssen um nur ansatzweise die Preise zu rechtfertigen. Ich freue mich auf den Vision Master Max den ich bekomme und der diese Leistungen vom Pro2 nochmals dramatisch toppen wird. Er kostet dann aber auch nochmals etwas mehr…. Ich kann auch bestätigen, dass das wahre Potential vom Pro2 erst in Verbindung mit einem externen Prozessor erreicht wird! Den sein eigenes DTM ist wirklich beachtlich, aber über einen wirklichen gute Externe Lösung sind die Unterschiede absolut gut ersichtlich! Wer es nicht glaubt, testen und urteilen was das Auge einem sagt (bitte eine Leinwand die kein Spackel zeigt verwenden).

I am very happy with this projector. I've been wanting to upgrade from a Sony 1080p projector to a 4k projector. This is a considerable upgrade. The picture quality looks wonderful. It will play HDR 10 and Dolby vision. It does not play HDR 10+. 4k movies look great and with HDR the colors and tone really pop when viewed in a darkened room. 3D movies look awesome, but you will need to purchase active 3D glasses. I did not purchase the Valerion 3D glasses as they cost $80/pair. I purchased these glasses off Amazon for $31/pair and they work great: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJML6GKS?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1 Just make sure you turn on 3D on the projector and on your disc player for 3D to play. Turn on the glasses, and voila, 3D. It is slightly dimmer than regular playback, but not as dim as it was with TV's several years ago. It is much brighter with this projector and looks great. And it looks even better on a big screen. For smaller speakers inside the unit, they still sound pretty good. In fact, in the sound menu I have it set to DTS X. This gives some spaciousness to the sound. My projector is mounted a couple feet above my head, and the sound does sound enveloping. Setup is easy and painless. It will automatically adjust to your screen size provided there is some black bordering around your screen, otherwise it may have a hard time automatically detecting it. You can still do this manually with ease. The auto focus works great and provides a clear, sharp picture. There is a little bit of fan noise, but I don't hear it at all during a movie. The fan sound is not intrusive at all and a non-issue, at least for me. Overall I am very pleased with this projector. I also purchased the ceiling mount. It installs easily, and the mount is a quality product.
