another tool for physical development
I went to utube to see a user for placement on his arms and legs explaining the best technique for use.

Makes weight lifting more fun.
I think the science behind these is still being written, but in the meantime they're just fun. I took off a star because the logo thing is thick and makes it harder to use. I use two wraps to reduce the tension on each loop.I use both arms and legs, and with these bands can get totally pumped using a lot less weight. I feel like I made significant gains when I started using them, but then it seemed to level out. Even so, it seems like I got about a 5% boost in strength from them and maybe a slight gain in muscle mass. I'm over 50 so my main focus is to maintain muscle mass while protecting my joints. These bands seem to help. They're also fun. It's sort of cool to get a major pump from high repetition, low weight lifting. If exercise is fun it's more likely you'll keep at it, so I view fun as a big benefit. Along with music these are now part of my routine. I do make sure to alternate workouts so I'm not using these all the time. Also, be careful that you can always feel a pulse in your wrist and ankles. These should never be so tight you get blue or numb.

Surprised
I am surprised by the results in just a week. Skeptical at first but thought I would give these a try after reading about occlusion bands in various articles. Not having easy access to a gym but having some equipment at home, I thought this would be perfect, especially during winter months. Anyway, my routine is four reps each of pushups (20), curls, Dumbel rows, and Dumbbell forearm curls all with 15# weights. For my legs, I only used timed reps on a stepper on bad weather days when I do not ride my bike, as my legs are in decent shape already. After just six days, there is a noticeable difference both in strength and appearance, and at 64, using lighter weights is far less stressful on the body. My upper body is now in proportion to my lower body.I am now a believer, and these Ronin Wraps work great! They are affordable, work well, and comfortable to use. I also like that they come in two sizes, 1.25-inch for arms, and 2-inch for legs. Just for kicks, I put the 2-inch bands around my arms, and this proved to be less effective and uncomfortable. I have two minor grips, in that they could be a little shorter and they tend to loosen a little when using, but this is easy to correct by just pulling on the end of the wrap. After looking at all the options, I am glad I went with these and would recommend them to anyone looking to stay in shape using low impact exercises. I could also see these as a great way to recover from injuries or if you are sedentary and need to maintain or build muscle mass. Occlusion bands seem to work, and I have not experienced any soreness, only results!

Highly Recommend
I have been lifting for a few years and read some stuff from a man named Mike Israetel who has a PhD in Sport Physiology. He was talking about the benefits of occlusion training and it caught my interest since I have also seen videos from other people in the fitness community like Jeff Cavaliere from Athlean-X. Two big people I follow have both spoke about this style of training so I decided to try it for myself. I loved the pump I got when doing bicep lift with these. They allowed me to use a lighter weight but still get the same hypertrophy benefits of using a much heavier weight. The quality is great they feel comfortable and I have no issues while wearing them. After reading the emailed instructions and a quick set up they are good to go and work perfectly. After lifting for so long these were a nice refreshing way to change up my routine and I will be throwing them on every few weeks from now when I get tired of the same old lifts.

cheap
compared to bfr bands these band are better in one way and worse in all others. The buckle they use I like. You cannot pinch or catch the band in it as easy as the cambuckle version BFR has. However the band it self is made of lower weight elastic material. My skin bunches up on one side of this buckle, so I have to wear long sleeves to be comfortable. My biceps measure 16 inches yet I have to this band so tight to get any occlusion to the point of constriction. Also the narrow band meant for arm does not seem to restrict blood It constricts it. I have to use the 2 wide band on my arms instead to not be constricted. I figured this out in my living room before going to the gym. Maybe these bands are good for people that are still getting into shape. If you have hard dense muscle these are not for you. Then either the logo in on upside down as I tired these in different way s to see what works best for tightening and release while lifting and the logo ends upside down every time unlike in your videos. refund...

Need to have huge legs and arms to work...
Unless you are huge already. I found the straps way too big for my medium arms and legs. Too bad. I wanted it to work.

There Is A Difference
I’m a big fan of BFR as part of my training, so I’ve used another brand of arm wraps which are good. However I used only therapy bands for legs & wanted some real BFR bands for legs. Since the value seemed good I went for the Ronin package of both. I must say at first it was much different than the 2” stiff Velcro bands I had. I’ve found the slimmer, elastic Ronin arm wraps to be way more comfortable. At first I was concerned that they didn’t “feel” as snug, however the resulting pump speaks for itself! The fact that they expand as your muscles flex doesn’t seem to effect the proper occlusion at all, it just adds to the comfort. Long & short I really like these wraps! Plus the carry pouch makes for convenient transport & the latch system makes adjustment pretty easy. Don’t hesitate - buy them
