You can buy this spray in a number of different scents. It doesn't smell too strong. I use it after I have thoroughly washed my feeders in hot soapy water. I have noticed the birds using the metal bars holding the feeders to clean their beaks on and it is easy to clean and spray them with this. I empty my bird bath daily, rinse it and wash it if the birds have made a mess in it, then use this spray to make sure that it is fully disinfected. It doesn't take long to do and you have done what you can to help protect our beautiful garden birds.
