Good quality item. Fit like a glove and stopped those nasty BMW oil filter leaks. Gotta love German engineering. Next to impossible on a n55 engine to replace this without loosening the intake. Be careful with the intake nuts. They are elusive when you try to reinstall but the gasket fixed my issue with leaks.

Always use the German brand gasket in your BMW.

This seal is made of a thick, pliable, "poly-rubber" material that is highly resistant to deterioration. It will be a long lasting replacement seal to stop your oil leak. The fit was perfect for my 2006 BMW 3 liter engine. However, the install is complicated. I recommend an experienced mechanic to make the repair using the correct torque settings on the housing bolts (so the seal is not deformed). No more oil leaks for me! Very happy with this quality seal.

Fit fine, Mahle make good stuff for German cars.

Perfect fit for my BMW n54 engine. The job itself took about 4 hours from start to finish but saved me a ton of money compared to going to a shop. The oil leak I had is gone after replacement.
