This Satechi hub is a game-changer for my Mac mini M4! The NVMe SSD enclosure works perfectly and provides tons of extra storage. All the USB-A ports are fast and reliable. Super easy to use and setup. Fit very nicely with the new Mac-mini M4 model. Adding in an extra SSD slot is very nice. I also owned the older model mini-hub for the M1 Mini so I have seen a history of solid device development which continues with this new model. Adds an easy method of turning the power on without having to pic up the mini. I NEVER leave my mini powered on when not going to be used. In my opinion this is a "must have," for the added flexibility and capability it give the Mini.

Look, the Mac mini M4 is incredible. It's also a small aluminum puck with ports that Apple decided should mostly live in the back, which is a choice. The Satechi hub/stand fixes that in a way that feels almost obvious in hindsight — prop the mini up, route your cables sensibly, and suddenly your desk doesn't look like a spaghetti incident. The build quality is solid. Aluminum, matches the Mac mini's finish almost perfectly, and doesn't feel like a $12 Amazon knockoff pretending to be $108 of product. The self-cooling passthrough is a nice touch — the M4 runs cool anyway, but you're not sandwiching it in plastic, so that's appreciated. The NVMe SSD enclosure is the real star here. Slot in your own drive and you've got fast expandable storage baked right into the stand. For the price of the hub alone, getting that enclosure bundled in is legitimately good value. The USB-A ports are 10Gbps, which: fine. Would've loved at least one USB-C on the front, but apparently that's a bridge too far. Pros: Aluminum build that actually matches the Mac mini NVMe enclosure included — huge value add Front-facing ports solve Apple's inexplicable cable placement decisions SD card reader is genuinely useful and not an afterthought Cons: No front-facing USB-C — in 2026, come on $108 is a lot to admit Apple's port placement annoyed you NVMe drive not included (obvious, but still stings when you're setting it up) Bottom line: If you have a Mac mini M4 and a desk you care about, this is the upgrade that makes the whole setup feel intentional. Just budget another $30-60 for the SSD you'll want to put in it.

Pretty cool little stand for the Mac Mini. It helps keep it cool and expands the capacity for storage. I figure I would use this to both cool the mini and expand the storage. I could connect other items to the mac mini and it much easier to turn on with the spacing notch provided. I would buy again.

Excellent docking station for the Mac mini. Has multiple ports which are very useful. The ability to install a solid state hard drive into the unit worked very well and is excellent. The only downside, is that it does not really lock onto the Mac mini so that when getting at the back on/off button for the Mac mini, the latter often slides off the docking station.

Great hub, would recommend to get while on a discount. Works as it should
