Outlasted the light
I purchased this to replace one in my security light. The light began to pulse and flash, so I assumed it was the sensor. Apparently, the sensor outlives the light because it did not solve my problem. I purchased a new light and now have three sensors that all work fine. I wish/hope the light lasts more than the 3 years of life I got out of the first light. The sensors are very easy to replace.

Easy to Install, Great Replacement for Old Photocell.
I used this to replace the old photocell on a metal halide fixture. It took less than 1 minute. All I had to do was to twist the old fixture counter-clockwise about 1/8 of a turn and then pull up on it. It came out of the keyed slots. Then installing this one was just the reverse. I flipped the breaker back ON and climbed the ladder. After holding my hand over the photocell for about 30 seconds, I then heard a click and the light came on. Perfect, easy and compatible. It will probably work with most outdoor lights that feature this kind of top mounted photocell.
