It has been a long time in the accessory space since a company came out with products that were different and unique but didn't also stink at the function that they are supposed to perform. This is not one of them. Like their keyboards, GravaStar has made this crazy looking mouse that is actually an excellent gaming mouse. (Or just mouse in general.) It is a premium product at a premium price so I do have a few nitpicks, but overall it is an excellent mouse. Taking it out of the box, and it is both very light but also feels premium. Squeezing it much harder then I should and it is very rigid and strong. The web based configuration is okay. Since I have one of their keyboards and the software that comes with that I think it would be nice if that was integrated into one system. Otherwise it is nice to be able to fine tune the sensitivity and even though I had no issue with debounce (clicking once and sometimes getting double clicks) but it is nice to be able to adjust that. And finally something that I never thought I would say... I like the RGB. In generally it just seems sort of silly to have RGB on a mouse, but this one makes it work and adds to the whole vibe, especially when paired with one of their keyboards. Actually gaming with the mouse is great. Despite the crazy look it is very comfortable in the hand. The main left and rright buttons have just the right amount of click. The side buttons are well placed (something that a lot of mice seem to struggle with). My only minor quip is with the scroll wheel. It is okay. It is a little soft and squishy feeling and the click takes a bit more force then I think it should. Given the rest of the mouse's construction it does stand out to me. Again, it is still my favorite mouse but when it costs a premium price then the expectations are also high. After playing a bit and getting into the game though, I stopped thinking about the scroll wheel though. In conclusion comparing this to another gaming mouse that costs about 1/3 as much, the cool is a big part of the price. For me the GravaStar is more comfortable and a lot lighter. The clicks are a bit better. With the DPIs set the same though I really could not tell the difference between the mouse with half the DPI and polling rate. For me though, the cool factor still makes it worth it.

Phenomenal mouse. Super light and great battery life. I use it most with the dongle. But also can be used with the cable or Bluetooth. I have large hands and its handles me squeezing it well when it gets stressful. Works great for first person shooters. Buttons have excellent response, no perceivable lag. Also 4 is great for me. Left and right and the two side buttons which I use for crouch and sprint.

I selected one of these for a system I built for a friend (Christmas present for their kid), partially because of the specs, but largely due to the design. While building that system, I of course gave it a test run and realized this was actually a really good mouse - so I asked Santa for one for myself. Barely within the first hour of use, I let my son use it, and he decided he needed to permanently borrow it from me, so now I've purchased yet another one, again, for myself. From the styling to the performance, this is an excellent mouse. Ergonomically, it is comfortable, even for large hands like mine. The magnesium alloy outer skin allows this open design to work quite well, making it exceptionally light yet still very rigid in your hands. For something this light, you might think it is delicate, but the mouse feels incredibly solid in your hands. Overall, across the board, this is a fantastic mouse! All thumbs up from those whom I've purchased for.

My husband got this for Christmas he loves it. He says it fits well in his hand and is easy for gaming. The grip is great and looks great in his all black game room!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Gravastar Mercury X Pro... This mouse is really great and has the features we're all looking for (3950 sensor, 8k polling rate, adjustable LOD, motion sync) all wrapped up in a downloadable OR web interface. I love having the choice - you can configure the mouse via webpage, or via the software to download. The RGB is great. I usually don't pick mice with it, I go for the $100-150 class mouse (I have around 10 of them, too). This mouse is definitely up there in the quality department, it feels just as nice as my other $170 magnesium mouse. The look is stunning and unique, I love the default colorway and it really stands out. It's a pleasure to use, except... Side slits :( Side slits :( Side slits :(... this is the only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars. Your thumb and ring/pinkie fingers on the side of the mouse will be holding slits. It's not so bad, they feel okay, but man would this mouse feel amazing with solid sides. I'm recommending to the vendor: Make the sides solid in the next revision. Give us something nice to hold onto. Ultimately there are two types of customer feelings about side slits: you've got the people who don't notice or care, and you've got the people that the side slits drive nuts. I am one of the people who go nuts about them. Your design is either going to drive people nuts with the feel of side slits, or it's going to be ignored by people who don't even notice. If you go with solid sides, you'll please people like me, and the rest of the customer base won't even notice. All in all I would give this mouse a square 8/10. It's almost perfection, every single spec ticks the right box for a high end mouse (what type of switches were used I don't believe was listed - they feel pretty good generally, I can't tell if it's optical or magnetic so I mean, good job). Maybe improve the switches and give us solid sides for the next version, and that'll be an 11/10 mouse.

Es necesario el software para modificar la configuración del mouse, es un poco complicado de ocupar ya que no es muy intuitivo, cuenta con 5 patrones RGB de los cuales solo en uno se puede decidir el color, puedes programar cuatro configuraciones para el mouse y ocuparlo según necesites. Personalmente el diseño me encanta, al tener aberturas ayuda para que transpire la palma de la mano, al ser de una aleación de magnesio es muy ligero por lo que es muy agradable al moverlo y pese a que es hueco es muy resistente

Very nice mouse. Extremely light. What I like about it is that I don’t need a mouse pad. It works really well on my solid wood table.
