The colors are gorgeous, and 100% cotton is necessary to make potholders, so this skein will be used for holiday gifts once I find a pattern I like. Or perhaps my inner Grinch will show up and I'll keep all of them for myself. Either way, a good product at a decent price.

A very cute yarn! It is cotton so it has its usual stiffness that comes with cotton yarns. Worked well for some holiday decor I was making. One thing to note is that this yarn gives the look of a white background with red and green colors added. So if you were looking for heavy red or heavy green, try another yarn. If you like more of a white background, this is a great yarn for your project!

Sugar’n Cream has been my “go to” cotton yarn for home / misc projects, for years. Even for a blanket I’m making for myself. Sure.. there’re cotton yarns that are less expensive, but being made in the USA with USA grown cotton is a HUGE plus in my book, but it’s also just a “side” benefit - meaning: if the yarn wasn’t a good quality, it’s manufacture wouldn’t be enough to sway me - happily that’s not the case. I’ve been, and will continue to be, a loyal customer of this brand of yarns.

I have not used this cotton yarn yet. I like the color purple. It will be useful when I am ready to use.

I knit handmade dish cloths (for a Southerner they are dish rags) and I have used this purple and a yellow to make LSU colored dish cloths to give as gifts and to sell. They really look great!!

The material felt stiff and even working with it when I’ve done small projects it’s stiff where’s as the same brand but different colors are super soft and light feeling.

Easy cotton to knit an attractive festive dish cloth

I made two dishcloths out of this yarn for a friend for a Christmas gift. It was very easy to use and the dishcloths looked very nice in the red, green and white variegated yarn. It took 3 balls to make 2-8” X 8” dishcloths. The balls are only 2 ounces each, so keep that in mind. I had only ordered 2 balls and when I had to order another ball, there was no choice of dye lot, so there was a very slight difference in the red colour. My friend thought they were very pretty, but also very practical, which is what both of us want in our old age!

I really like this soft cotton yarn, it's smooth and easy to work. It does have a crochet pattern inside the ball band for a "grannie square dishcloth" which could be a bonus if it's what you're looking for, I don't know if there are different patterns or if this is just generic.

Its smaller than I expected. Its a 4 so its thinner than expected but its soft and seems durable. Excited to make stuff with it though.
