I Bought this to mount my binoculars to my tripod which is just a cheap run of the mill tripod. But this mount is definitely built well. you can tell it’s good quality just by looking at. That’s why I chose to purchase this one over some of the other ones that I saw this one just seemed like it was better quality. I’d rather pay a few more dollars for a good product. It’s extremely lightweight machined aluminum, came with an extra stud to mount to the binoculars just incase you loose one. The Universal stud fit perfect in my vortex, binoculars and holds tight and stable, it’s also very small and compact if your packing it along with your gear or whatever.

Easy to use ARCA rail adapter. I got this for my Spotting Scope to work on the BOG ARCA Swiss Infinite Tripod with 360 Degree Ball Head that I purchased. I love the simplicity and sturdiness of this product. It is a good weight, holds on great, fit perfectly and has a considerable amount of functionality. From optics to cameras, even on my rifle if I choose to mount it there, it is completely useful.

The size and style of the post on this binocular mount are perfect. It was by far the lightest of those I tried at 48.8 grams, but then there's another 13.8 grams for the stud that attaches to the binoculars.The critical flaw in the execution is the knurling on that stud. I had the same theory as the designers likely did - knurling on the stud mating to the same on the post would ensure no twisting. Unfortunately the tolerances aren't tight enough to achieve that result, so the thumb screw on the top still needs to be tightened down to fully secure the binoculars. So there's no benefit to the knurling and two major issues. First, your fingers are going to rub against the stud when hand-holding the binoculars and that knurling is unpleasant to rub against compared to a smooth cylinder. Second, that knurling means that any amount of rotational force in the screw-tightening direction is going to be translated to the binoculars. To me that sounds like a recipe for breaking something.
