As someone who frequently travels abroad on holidays—both on a surf boards and diving—having a high-quality action camera is essential for capturing my adventures. After a great experience using the Insta Ace Pro 1 on a skiing trip, I decided to upgrade to the Insta Ace Pro 2 for my action cam setup. Successors aren’t always guaranteed to be better, but in this case, Insta has put a lot of effort into refining the Ace Pro 2. The improvements are noticeable and make a real difference in performance. Here’s what stands out the most: Improved Microphone: The newly redesigned mic captures ambient sounds with much better clarity. While the changes may seem subtle, they become evident when playing back footage at higher volumes. Enhanced Low-Light Performance: I often ride in dim lighting conditions, and while the Ace Pro 1 already delivered good footage, the Ace Pro 2 performs exceptionally well in low-light settings, including dusk. This could be due to the built-in AI or upgraded software enhancements. Whatever the reason, I’ve never seen better night-time footage from an action cam. Leica Colour Profiles: The colour profiles are rich, vibrant, and high in contrast, significantly enhancing the quality of recordings. True Wide-Angle Lens: The wide-angle capabilities are outstanding, providing an expansive view that truly lives up to its name. For adrenaline junkies, the Insta Ace Pro 2 is arguably the best traditional action camera currently available. Two thumbs up—this purchase was absolutely worth it!

This improvement comes from a dedicated Pro Imaging Chip that adds image and noise reduction, and a 5nm AI Chip that enhances the camera's performance. Giving cleaner, brighter videos with improved noise reduction. Superior Imaging Capabilities The upgraded sensor on the Ace Pro 2 is up from 48MP TO 50MP, delivering sharper and more detailed images. The AcePro 2 also boasts a Leica lens with a slightly wider field of view, at 157°, allowing for wider shots. Improved Battery Life and Durability Battery capacity increased on the Ace Pro 2, giving a longer recording time of 180 minutes at 1080p, instead of 120 minutes. 🔎 The camera comes in sturdy branded ox, along with accessories, and printed user manual. 🧡 I got this camera with two batteries, as they usually run out of juice quite quickly. It makes it more convenient when travelling, as I can quickly swap the battery, while charging the other one. After holliday tril to Italy I tested it recording with, and without waterproof case, also bought a metal cage with photo grip, so my young children could take photos, and record videos. It is easy to operate, and performs well. The video quality is very good. Easy to replace the lens filter for CPL or ND. Good quality sound recording even when in waterproof case. A useful flip-up screen. 👎 Quite heavy due to rotating screen. 💲 A good value action camera.

Great camera. Rated 4-star as battery life is c. 1 hour when used at 4k HDR, which is a lot shorter than claimed albeit that is based on non-HDR and in longevity (?) mode which is not how most will use it. Still, easy to use, and great video quality in all lights.

Its just perfect, easy to use and so many functions. I love the pure video mode. I have changed all other camera brands and only use the insta360 caneras for moto vlogging now. The battery lasts long and i love the vibration feedback when you press the quick record button with gloves on. You always know what the camera is doing.

Totaly Better than Gopro fits the description, finding accessories is abit hard

Estoy muy contento con la cámara pero he observado que cuando llevo un rato utilizándola, se empaña la lente, pensaba que era una cosa excepcional pero me ha ocurrido en dos ocasiones, solicito la devolución y espero que la siguiente no presente ese fallo. Edito con fecha 13/03/2025 Tras percatarme del fallo inicie la devolución del producto sin problema alguno, solicitando nuevamente una nueva cámara, posteriormente contactaron conmigo la empresa Insta 360 para pedirme disculpas por lo ocurrido, así como preguntándome por la nueva adquisición. Comentar que la segunda cámara que adquirí va fabuloso y muy contento con la compra.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi voglio condividere con voi la mia esperienza con l’Insta360 Ace Pro2, un’action cam che ho avuto modo di testare a fondo, soprattutto durante le mie uscite in mountain bike. Devo dire che, fin dal primo utilizzo, questa action cam mi ha colpito positivamente sotto diversi aspetti, e sono qui per raccontarvi tutto in modo sincero e dettagliato. Partiamo dalla qualità costruttiva. L’Ace Pro2 si presenta con un design robusto e compatto, pensato per resistere alle sfide più dure delle attività outdoor. La sua struttura è realizzata con materiali di alta qualità, che danno una sensazione di solidità e affidabilità. È resistente all’acqua senza bisogno di custodie aggiuntive, il che è un grande vantaggio per chi come me ama fare riprese in condizioni variabili, dalla pioggia alle pozzanghere di fango. La presa è ergonomica, e il peso contenuto permette di montarla facilmente sul casco o sulla bici senza appesantire troppo l’attrezzatura. Per quanto riguarda le prestazioni video, l’Ace Pro2 non delude. La qualità delle riprese è davvero eccellente: video in 5.7K a 30 fps, con una stabilizzazione elettronica che funziona molto bene, anche su terreni accidentati come quelli delle mie uscite in MTB. La stabilizzazione è uno dei punti forti di questa action cam: permette di ottenere immagini fluide e prive di tremolii, anche quando si sfreccia su sentieri sconnessi. La resa dei colori è vivida e naturale, e il livello di dettaglio è impressionante, anche in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione. Ho fatto diverse riprese in montagna, e i risultati sono stati sempre di alto livello, con un’ottima resa anche in condizioni di luce variabile. Un altro aspetto che ho apprezzato molto è la possibilità di catturare video a 360°, grazie alla doppia lente. Questo permette di creare contenuti molto dinamici e immersivi, perfetti per condividere le proprie avventure sui social o per montaggi più creativi. La funzione di editing integrata nell’app è intuitiva e potente: puoi facilmente estrarre clip da 360° o creare effetti di transizione tra diverse angolazioni, senza bisogno di software complessi. La connettività è rapida e stabile, e l’app permette di controllare la camera a distanza, visualizzare in tempo reale le riprese e fare tutte le regolazioni necessarie. Parlando del software, devo dire che l’app Insta360 è uno dei punti di forza di questa action cam. È intuitiva, ricca di funzioni e permette di sfruttare al massimo le potenzialità della camera. La stabilizzazione, il tracking dei soggetti, le modalità di ripresa come TimeShift e Hyperlapse sono facili da usare e danno risultati professionali. Inoltre, l’editing è molto semplice: puoi tagliare, aggiungere musica, effetti e esportare i tuoi video in pochi clic. おそらくハズレを引きました。使用1回目にして故障。しかし、カスタマーサービスの返答も早く、補償もしっかりしていました。すぐに新しいものが送られてきました。 あまり期待はしていなかった8Kですが、そのクオリティには驚きました。どこまで拡大しても鮮明に写っています。この小さいカメラにこの性能が詰まっていてこの値段は安いと思います。

Just found out that this camera only works with their own remote. Can't connect a generic selfie stick bluetooth to trip the shutter. This should be made clear on the product advertising. Very impressed with the rest of the tech and build quality but i think many people will be put off by this. After consulting with their customer service they were very accommodating and sent me one of their Power Selfie sticks and mount free of charge so I could use it the way I intended. The extra battery life in the stick is a bonus. I'm very happy now with the experience of using the camera; there are a lot of features and the overall image and audio quality is very good. I think the larger image sensor and quality optics make a big difference; I was pleased with the results of indoor lighting at a sporting event
