Overall this is a good desk for the price. It does what it is meant to and it is sturdy enough. I read reviews for weeks before I bought this desk and this seller had the least amount of reviews for damaged goods. I am pleased that the box was only slightly dinged up on one corner and the desk itself had barely a scratch on that corner. All in all I think it is worth the money if you are looking for a decent little craft or drawing table to get you started. Some key things to consider. The desktop itself is made from particle board. The metal is not heavy duty but it is reliable enough for the desk itself. The drawers are fabric and unfortunately the track they sit on is plastic not metal. They still seem to hold a decent amount. The slide out side table is not really on a track but instead is held by two screws that slide through metal slits in the side. And lastly the swivel cup for pens is held by a plastic ring and unfortunately the weight distribution causes the pens to slip under the actual desk as you lower it down again making the cup not sit right. You have to move the pens back up through the hole so the cup will sit level again. I have no doubts this desk will serve it's purpose quite well for the price. If you are looking for top quality material keep shopping this is a baseline desk.

So I received my artist drafting table January 30 just as the order stated when it would arrive. I carefully unpacked everything and did full inspection and checked to make sure all was there. After doing the assembly for some time in beginning I encountered a problem when Part # 11 in the check list the welded thread housing for the screw broke loose when trying to connect Part# 11 and Part # 18. I couldn't remove the screw back out even using the smallest needle nose plyers so therefore I was not able to finish assembly. I contacted Amazon and reported the problem. They sent an email to the seller or company (Zeny) who I purchased the drafting table from. The very next morning Zeny or the seller had sent an email and was concerned and wanted to help. They asked if I could submit photos and describe the part or parts I needed. After about 4 emails back and forth Zeny had sent a final email saying the parts had been sent out. 3 days later I had received the parts and as you can see in the photos my drafting table is assembled and put together. Very solid and sturdy. Perfect for the area of my office down stairs. I have ordered from Amazon before and even got negative response back from previous sellers. This seller ZENY will definitely go out of their way to make sure you will be able to get your drafting table finished or assembled. They only respond by email only even though they send a card with telephone # but calling nobody answers maybe because they are small company or very busy anyway they are very proficient and professional in getting back to you through email. I am a happy customer and yes I would order from them again if I needed to. If your looking for an artist drafting table that fits your budget and something sturdy I recommend this. I am a retired army officer so everything I purchase gets full inspections and I check the quality of the item plus the quality of the seller or company. Zeny get's 5 stars from me on the rating!

I want to start out by saying, no this isn’t “2000lbs” like it says. After I bought it I saw that and I was like “that’s going to fall through my apartment floor!” Lol, it’s pretty heavy so maybe like 100-200lbs. Feels like 2000lbs when you have to carry it up stairs. I am so happy I found this. I’ve wanted a drawing table that could adjust to almost vertical to double as an easel. I also wanted an art easel that could handle bigger, heavier canvases. This is PERFECT. I absolutely love the adjustable side table because now I actually have a sturdy place to set my water on that’s within easy reach. The metal and wood are actually pretty decent considering the price. It’s pretty stable in the upright position and very stable when the table is flat. I actually don’t mind the cloth drawers. They’re not as flimsy as I thought they would be. Also, the chair went above and beyond my expectations. It’s a decent height and very stable. There’s also additional storage space in the bottom bar below the drawers. My only complaint, which is very minor, is that the canvas support bar when propped out isn’t very wide. There’s only about a quarter-inch of metal holding the canvas up, which isn’t ideal for thicker canvases. Assembly wasn’t terrible but a little time consuming. Overall, a great product for the price!

This arrived so much faster then expected. So fast in fact the packaging virtually exploded all over my front deck on arrival. Since this beauty could hardly be contained I assembled her right away and she turned into a beautiful sturdy lass. Only complaint is the side pull out isn't on the right and the stool is a smidgen wobbly and she's a bit stiff when changing the table height. To be fair I have stiff and wobbly days too so we make a fine pair.
