Men's 32mm Suspender With Convertible Clip, Button End and Strap

10/10, will buy again if I need another. Tommy Hilfiger’s Suspenders are true-to-size as mentioned in the description and the compatibility for clasps (casual) and buttons (formal). Price is pretty good vs other brands that does not offer duo-compatibility and quality. The clasp strength lasted long, stayed in pace, stretchiness due to elastic, and comfortable, while also providing the buttons for the duo-compatibility. Beautiful design, to allow both casual and formal(despite formal preferring silk vs elastic). Durability lasted extremely well for me after a few weeks of wearing it as a 5’2.5, female with low LBS WT, BFP, and BMI. It was quite hard to find sizes for females that are not too wide 1.25-1.5 inches, smaller sizes 42 inches to distribute the weight and having an upscale look without the bulkiness as females have smaller builds. So Tommy Hilfigure did exemplary for this! Even though it’s for Men’s attire, it works well for Women’s attire too. Bought it for casual or formal wear, to go with my other Tommy Hilfigure sets to match with heels/boots. It’s a great fashion variety (spring/summer) addition during hot weather days. I can just swap up the vest with suspenders and tie on warmer seasons, then swap to vests during colder (fall/winter) seasons. Convenient!

I received a lot of compliments on my outfit with suspenders on new years eve. This pair comes with the option to have clips OR buttons and you can change that out. Be aware you have to have a tailor sew in buttons on the inside of your trousers for this to work ($20) but the payoff and look is great. These seems to be off a pretty good quality and fit well even on me (6'2" 280)

He's a pretty decent suspenders. The leather is natural and firm. The suspenders themselves are basic elastic nothing special, but of decent quality. It does come with the clips and loops so you can wear them either way. Mine came with a small package of 6 white buttons. The suspenders themselves are of a pretty good size. I myself I am 6 ft 1, 300 lb and they fit me fine, all be it I'm pretty much let them all the way out with about 1 inch left over. But at that length the elastic was not stretched much at all. The only issue I have is with the clips. Where is there a metal on the outside, they are without the metal alligator tooth Style clip on the inside, but instead it's a circular piece of plastic with ridges. I tried to use them on slacks which were not very thick in the waist band, but several times that day different clips were coming off and had to be reattached. This is not too big of a deal to me because these particular suspenders or purchase to wear with a suit which I will be attaching the button loops to the pants. But I would recommend a stronger clasping set if you were to be using them exclusively with the clips. But honestly, I would imagine a man of Slimmer build might have less of an issue with the clips popping off.

I do need to put more buttons in more pairs of my slacks, but I'm using these Hilfiger suspenders with movable, clip on buttons (one set of which I've had for over 20 years). These are slimmer than most of my other sets, and a bit more expensive than I usually purchase, but I wanted black to go with two of my suits. I'm pleased with the product. I have multiple pair of convertible suspenders, and these rank up there among the better ones I own.

Really nice. I just received mine... and I never go out without them on. ~ Nov 2014. Update [February 2015]. As I said a couple of months back... very nice, but now I see it is wholly made of inferior materials. The stretchy fabric is not very well woven... the strands are coming out. The leather parts are NOT real leather. The clips don't grab real good... they keep letting go of my trousers/pants waist. The brandless ones I bought for $9.99 at Dillard's years ago are of a more solid construction and hold up better than these. I will not buy new ones of these, unless the price drops below $10.00. Not worth $20+.

These are very comfortable and functional, and the option to clip or use the loops is great for a man whose wardrobe is in transition; like most humans, I can't afford to buy all my pants at the sort of place that tailors and puts buttons in upon purchase, so I'm slowly taking in slacks and khakis a few pairs at a time. Swapping from the clips to the loops to go from one pair of pants to another in the morning takes a few extra minutes, which is tiresome, but it's not the product's fault that such versatility comes with such an understandable price. The clips themselves latch and stay very nicely on all my pants save one pair, which is known for rejecting clips from multiple pairs of suspenders. The pants and I are currently in negotiations, but the pants have a strong union rep and I doubt they will be accepting these or any suspender clips any time soon. However, that is also not the product's fault. My only issue is that, when I use the clips, the clip at the rear creates a painful bulge against my spine when I sit in my office chair or my car seat. (I mean the driver's seat of my car, not some kind of gigantic, man-fetish car seat as though for an enormous baby - though I imagine this issue would persist were I to sit in such a seat.) On a medium-length commute, this bulge becomes very uncomfortable, but I find that clipping the rear arm of the suspenders about an inch and a half to the right or left alleviates the issue almost entirely.
