Having the Os pre installed saves a lot of time. It’s ready to use out of the box, even with games included, so it’s a great gift.

great price for such a capable unit, onion OS makes it shine far beyond its competitors. its quite small making the ergonomics not great if you need shoulder buttons but for gameboy or PSx rpg games i dotn think you could pick a better unit unless you wanted a larger screen. speaking of the screen its absolutely beautiful. the buttons feel great and the system plays most anything up to ps1. it feel sturdy but not to the point i wouldn't worry about dropping it. just that itll be okay bumping around in a backpack or pocket. battery life is very good for anybody concerned about it. if i had to estimate. i play maybe an hour and a half a day on it if i have time and i can go 2 weeks if im just playing gameboy games. mileage may vary if playing more intensive emulators.

The console is great. You have to reinstall onion os to have all emulators though. The device is comfortable to use even with a single hand, but the R L buttons feels cramped.

Came a day early most games are garbage. However I would focus on why you bought this product in particular. This is not a system you want to run demanding games on. While some ps1 games are great they are not so great on something with such a small control scheme so if you focus on 2d side scrolling games as opposed to open world it's awesome. Remember this isn't meant to be a powerhouse ergo controller it's meant as a quick take it with you anywhere sesh. It also requires some tinkering with as most "N" based emus do have file systems on it, the roms won't load because the emu has not been enabled which was very confusing but after about half an hour of tinkering it became clear and easy to figure out.

The handheld itself is great! One of my favorites. This store, however, I’m skeptical of. The handheld I received is clearly used. The D pad is well worn and not as responsive as it would be new with new membranes. The screws have been..well…screwed. The Micro SD card came DOA. Not worth the price. Clearly a refurbished lot sold as new if I were to assume. YMMV.

Love playing old gameboy games and reliving childhood

The only reason I bought this device to run Nintendo games and it’s the only console missing. I’m sure for legal reasons it’s left behind. So a little legwork has to be done by the user. Good thing is they provide everything. Just need a computer

"This is surprisingly tiny," my husband said when he first saw it. But as soon as he had it, he didn’t want to put it down or give it back! The Miyoo mini is the perfect sized handheld for carrying around, whether you're waiting in line or taking a short break to catch up on some classic Genesis games from my childhood. I even added a small lanyard for easy portability and for the sake of not dropping it. Despite the tiny screen, the vibrant, gorgeous colors make every game pop. The pixel quality is outstanding, and I love that it comes with an easy to follow guide and an FAQ PDF for any questions that had cross my mind. There are tons of options to explore, and the ability to download community themes is a fun touch. It’s inspired me to create my own theme, maybe something a bit girly, which might not appeal to all the guys in the community, but would definitely catch the attention of the female gamers. The ergonomics are great and It fits perfectly in my hand just right, with easy access to the back buttons for smooth gameplay. The device comes preloaded with a wide variety of games from different systems, from the included Sega titles, I’ve recently started exploring Pico-8 games. Pico Dino, in particular, has been an absolute blast! Really! It has. If you don’t already own a handheld console, I highly recommend looking into this one from Miyoo. At under $100, it’s an incredible value compared to other handhelds and you’re definitely getting more for your money. My next goal is to upgrade to a larger SD card to expand its capabilities even further.

I am so sad not even a minute of taking it out of the package it just froze. I tried trouble shooting and even letting the battery die out and nothing. So I have to return it and live vicariously through my friends It could have just been a lemon
