Smart looking clock, arrived on time well packed. Really pleased with the lovely chimes which can be as loud or as soft as required. Good value for the price.

Great clock looks more expensive than it is and has a lovely rich sounding chime.

My first impressions are that I'm very happy with the solid wood feel, and neo classical style. It's everything I hoped for. I'm even happier with the rich sound which can be controlled and reduced so that the clock can chime as background noise which adds to the room without demanding attention. I hope it lasts, as my wife and kids love it as well.

Not a bad looking clock, but I’d say that the pendulum swings a bit too fast, the chime sounds a bit ‘recorded’, and it’s a bit of a nuisance trying to get the number of chimes to correspond to the hour shown on the clock!

After realizing that attempting to own and maintain any actual working antique mantle clock was not cost effective in this day and age, we begrudgingly relegated ourselves to a battery-operated clock with faux chime. This clock appeared to come out on top amongst Amazon’s offerings at this price tier so we decided to give it a shot. We love it. I was concerned that it would look and sound cheap, but it doesn’t. It has a classy high quality look, and even the “chime” has a reasonably convincing percussive sound rather than a tinny electronic recording sound. Initial setup is a *little* tedious, but not particularly difficult. You’ll just need to give it your undivided attention for about 5 minutes or less to properly set the clock and then move on with your life. It’s been about 2 or 3 months now and has kept time consistently thus far. I can be anywhere in the house looking at a clock on my phone, computer, an appliance, digital alarm clock, etc, and I can count on hearing that chime from our living room on the hour, right on time. I appreciate the volume control and night time mode — which we use — that silences the chime on the hours of 11pm thru 5am.

O relógio é bonito, de madeira verdadeira e som de carrilhão igual ao real, sem parecer eletrônico. O pêndulo vem colado dentro da caixa, então cuidado para não jogá-lo fora. Acompanha manual com instruções (um pouco confusas) em inglês, francês e espanhol. Levei uns quinze minutos para colocá-lo em funcionamento. É preciso esperar passar uma hora para o carrilhão ficar sincronizado com a hora. Tem opção de tocar 24 horas, não tocar nunca e não tocar das 23h às 05h. O volume não é muito potente, mas dá pra ouvir o carrilhão sem dificuldade. Ele toca só nas horas cheias. Até aqui estou satisfeito com a compra.

Die Uhr ist wirklich sehr schön und hat einen fantastischen Klang. Meine Erwartungen hat dieser Klang jedenfalls weit übertroffen. Auch Optik und Qualität sind ohne Beanstandungen. Eine tolle Kamin/Tischuhr zu einem günstigen Preis.
