Overkill on the packaging.
I did not expect such a large box for 1 yard of fabric. I thought it would come folded in a ziplock bag. Instead, it came in a very tall thin box, wrapped around a thick cardboard cylinder, which was then wrapped in plastic. The quality of the fabric is fantastic and it arrived sooner than expected. Thanks!

Awesome
Sturdy, waterproof, super wide, and cheap. Whats not to love? I made kayak sprayskirts out of it and it is perfect, with a heavy smooth waterproof coating on one side and a nice canvas texture on the other. This is a perfect fabric for making carrying bags and raincovers, and it would even make a nice raincoat. It is very easy to sew even on a home sewing machine. I managed to sew through 5 layers without a problem when I made a wallet/cellphone case with it. It does tend to get dirty, but what do you want from white canvas?

Great fabric, but "literally" stinks!
Fabric is lightweight yet durable. Great value for the cost. It has a definite difference in color in comparing the front to the back. One side is is pictured nylon stranded, and the reverse is a glossy rubbery material. The reason for only 3 Stars is the odor. The material smells terrible. I would compare it to the odor of vomit, not even kidding. I had to move it from airing out in my basement to my garage because it was stinking up the entire house. I have had the package open and the material laid out for about 3 days and it still stinks. I am going to try to steam it today to remove the wrinkles for my project and hopefully that will dissipate some of the odor.

Honest review.
Theres pros and cons here, mostly pros, but here goes.Pros:-very tear resistant, I'm a big guy and could not tear it by hand.-it has no bad smell like I've seen in other reviews-Works well for sewing if you allow 1/4 inch between stitching and edge.-Tough enough to make hand tool belts.- doesent fray easily.Cons:- Is thinner than expected, think construction paper thickness.-Will Fray if contacted by coarse metal or heavy tools.-Not ideal for making bags or pouches that carry heavy weight.Overall I am satisfied.

Perfect for bag making
I picked up this canvas to use as accents for bags that I made. It was more pliable than I thought it would be, which was perfect, and it came on a roll so it wasn’t creased on arrival. Overall very happy with it and will be ordering more.

perfect
This does exactly what I need - to act like a good canvas material for a project i'm working on. Make sure you feel for the rubber side. one side is rubber coated, and the other is nylon. The rubber coated side will turn yellow with sunlight after 2 weeks. I tested this specifically for this.you can feel it, it's kinda hard to see without touching though.

Suffiently stiff material
This is a strong, and fairley stiff cloth. It is being used as a cover on a thick foam pad, which is backed by ply wood, used as fencing (foil & epee) practice post. The cloth fo this application is folded into three layer, but double layer would have been more than sufficient. Need extra strong needle and thread to sew.Shipping was quick. However, beware that the shipping cost is per yard (i.e. if you order 5 yards, the shipping cost will be 5x$3.79).
