For reasons outside of the quality of this product, I chose to return it because it is too big for the purpose I was desiring. (I am a tutor and was looking for a bag that could support/divide many students per each day seen). This product appears to be exceptional both in construction and space. Even though I didn't use it or try it out, it appears to be worthy of many years of use. Many comment that the handle feels shaky and may not withstand long term use. I do not feel that way. The amount of space and divisions within the case is very generous. Overall, it is just too big of a bag for my purposes and am afraid that I won't use it as much as I had planned to. Because of it being a larger/oversized bag, it may very well end up being too heavy for me. I will continue to use previous bags I own even though they aren't as roomy for multiple students seen per day. Great value for money.

and hard shell to add protection to its contents. I use this all the time when I must fly for work. It is smooth rolling and the handle adjusts to a height that is great for me. I fully extend the handle then drop it down one and lock it in place. Although I do not like where the release button is, but I guess there is no other alternate placement for it, so I just deal with it. However, this item does not always meet carry on requirements and must become a checked bag. Overall, I am happy with this 4-wheel brief case and will continue to use it.

This was a great bag until it wasn't. The handle lasted from September to February. It disconnected and cannot be reconnected. The big is discuss and stylish in looks, but it's durability is questionable.

Plenty of storage, wheels easy to use.

According to the product documentation and customer feedback, actually removing the wheels requires more effort than a simple pinch. A community Q&A response notes that the rivets holding the wheel in place typically need to be removed or dealt with to fully detach the wheels—it's not a quick-release mechanism for everyday storage. For airplane storage, I'd recommend: Keep the wheels attached and collapse the telescoping handle instead The case fits carry-on dimensions (19" L x 9" W x 13.25" H) Store vertically to minimize overhead bin space

I purchased two of these for around $134 for each. The quality is excellent. The design and look of the case is excelent for the office. I bought two of these catalog cases to create a portable library. I used to lug a small subset of my library around with me but that was inconvient. Sometimes a book I would need to reference would be at home while I was at work or vice versa. Having the library on wheels is awesome. I can roll up to any desk or conference table and work right out of the library as if it was a portable shelf. The way I use the cases certainly exceeds the weight limit for the luggage. I have somewhere around 50lbs in each but the cases hold up well and the locks are high quality. I must mention that design of the case is just a step above. Lastly, originally I wasn't certain if I would want a case that was not all lether but this cases looks better in my opinion than one that is all lether. The subtle contrast between the lether pocket covers, trim, and handle make this case really nice to look at.

I love this rolling case. it spacious, and top loading. It rolls smooth and has lot of pockets with a top letter cover. However, I am only giving it 4 starts, because the handle broke after only 6 months of use. I contacted Alpine Swiss, they asked for pictures and purchase order and offer to replace it under the 1-year warranty, but I had to pay $15 processing fee and destroy the existing one, which was in excellent conditions, other than the handle. If there is one item that i recommend buying the $23 Asurion 3-year warranty, is this one.

Good size and appears to be a robust piece of kit but only had it a month or so. The wheels are of concern given their relatively small size but overall, happy with the purchase.
