Well worth it & a must have
For the price point it does what it says does and very well. There is a slight lag but beats the $900 options. Install and integration is fairly seamless. That being said there are a few key points to note. I installed this in a 2011 328i w idrive. FIRST- test your aux port for proper operation prior to doing anything. This is how the new unit will play through. Make sure you have a 6' aux cable and test that as well. I bought a brand new one and didn't test it. You wouldn't believe the amount of troubleshooting I ended doing. SECOND- if equipped you have to relocate your "MOST" connector from factory harness to new harness in back of factory unit. THIRD- if you're asking a backup camera there's one on Amazon built into the rear trunk button that is great. It's a little work to get to trunk lid but it's well worth it. FOURTH - there's a couple of connections behind the new unit that say CIC/CCC AND CIC AND CCC. plug in your version to the proper plug. Hopefully this streamlines your install.

Solid radio
It’s honestly great price wise everything works as promoted install was very straight forward Cons- car pay is laggy audio wise it will take 1 second before it actually plays the audio From the box the sound is garbage I got a 335is with harman kardon sound was terrible but messing with the eq settings in the radio and oem radio it’s amazing now It didn’t come with a aux cable so you would need to buy one in order for any audio to work 6.5 ft is good enough Overall not many complaints and a lot of positives back up cam works as intended I don’t got one plugged in that’s why it’s blue but all features work perfectly

Does not work. Just buy Bluetooth connector that plugs into the aux in the center consul
So I decided to purchase this Apple CarPlay radio for my 2009 BMW 328i E90 it took about four hours to Connect everything together and after everything I did not get no sound. I read the instruction watched videos and still no sound. in my opinion it was a waste because I bought it to be able to connect my Bluetooth to listen to music. I got none. As far as the radio system, I like the design and the idea of it, but what good is it if you don’t get no music 😡

The headunit worked exactly as it should but…
So it’s a great head unit I have no issues so far everything worked just as it should. But it took me well over 10 hrs to install only because I installed a rearview camera. My tips to make the head unit process faster is 1. Once you separate your fiber optic green cable from your main harness cut the electrical tape up about 2 inches to the harness has room to move around. 2 take off the plastics at the passenger foot well to route the aux and USB cables onto the net at the bottom. 3. My usb and aux port in the arm wrest compartment were super hard to get out I had to break a plastic in there to get it out I’d take apart as much as you can to do it easier. 4 get a green branch to stick through the usb/aux hole down to the side of the seat and tape the aux from your new head unit to pull it through. Make sure everything is plugged in right before putting it back together I had to turn my car off and on 2x to get back to the original car menu. If you have a base model set the head unit to alpine. Turn the volume on the head unit settings to 25 to keep bass and audio quality. You might get a few warning lights on your dash just turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and right to reset steering column. Bluetooth connects within like 6-7 seconds on start up. Quality is pretty good. I haven’t drove it in the day to see if the screen has glare but I’m assuming it does. 2/13/26 I’ll update if anything changes. Works perfectly on my BMW e93 335is
I installed this unit for my CIC stereo. I have a 2011 BMW 335is, E93. This unit works very well as intended. The screen resolution is crisp and it's a slight upgrade from the current screen. I must advise that this unit is not an Android Unit, meaning you can't download apps, it is strictly a device to mirror your phone, (Apple Carplay or Android Auto). With that said, I can connect to the unit via Wifi or Bluetooth, which is nice having two options. The best part is that it is wireless. The only issue is that, when I am connected to Android Auto and listening to Pandora, I am can not skip to the next track using the steering wheel controls. I have to use the center rotary knob to select the skip function on the app, and then I have to press on the knob to select the skip function... or just press next on the screen itself. For me, it is not a major issue, and it does not deter me from enjoying my drive or the head unit. The installation itself is pretty straight forward, I had no issues removing the old unit and installing this one. If you have no sound for some reason, it is because you did something wrong. Make sure the aux audio cable is installed correctly, and that you move the Green optical cable from the stock audio harness to the new audio harness.

Passt perfekt. Alles gut beschrieben
Hat alles geklappt, man muss aber die ganze Armaturblende abbauen . Es gibt aber genug Videos in Internet dazu . Verbindung per Bluetooth aufnehmen, und es funktioniert bestens. Wie in der Werbung beschrieben
