Double Sleeping Pad, 4-in Thick Camping Mattress (A1)

I bought this sleeping pad to bring with me camping this summer. So far, I am glad I chose Hikenture! (Guessing the name is a mix of Hiking and Adventure). I initially tested out the mattress the day I received it in the mail. It came with easy to follow instructions for inflation, as well as deflation and rolling it back up. The first time I filled it up it took under 10 minutes. But, I wasn't using my foot entirely correct. Don't be afraid to push down on it, I was being to gentle so it wasn't filling up as fast, and the second valve wasn't entirely shut. Make sure you check that before pumping. I inflated it last night for the second time and it took less than 5 minutes. I personally enjoy laying on it when it's closer to the firmest it will go. I set it up in the second bedroom and made it up like a bed and slept on it last night. Comfort wise, no complaints. I actually really loved it! It's going to be replacing my twin air mattress that I bought from Coleman. It's sooooo much better and more comfortable. The material is far sturdier and the weight distribution is also great. I am most likely going to sleep on it again tonight to give another test night on it. It's a nice break for my back from my regular bed. I can't rave enough about how well this deflates and is easily re-stored back in its bag. It fits perfectly. Lightweight and easy to pack or carry for camping trips or if you're staying at a friends. Can't wait to try it out with my boyfriend when we go camping. *Update 9/27/20* I have used this air mattress camping many times now. It still holds up great. I'm currently laying on it in my tent after a night camping. I am thinking of getting a sheet for it though. My sleeping bag is slippery material and sometimes I slip around in the night. But that's really not a big deal. Definitely a great investment!

I've been camping all my life and had lots of pads over the years. One thing I dislike about sleeping on individual pads in individual sleeping bags is the impracticality of snuggling with my sweetheart when we camp together. With the snuggle problem in mind I bought this double pad and have not been disappointed. It's the perfect size to fill the bottom of my 2.5 person tent. It's super comfortable and does away with the troublesome gulf between me and my partner. This is the first pad I've ever had that I can comfortably sleep on my side without bruising my hips and shoulders. For that matter it's also great for sleeping on your back, face down, on your hands and knees, or even one on top of the other. I was worried that it might be too crinkly/noisy but it's actually fairly quiet even if the snuggling gets energetic. The fact that it fits tightly in the bottom of the tent means that it can't slide around under you or get out of place if you toss and turn like we tend to do, a lot. My only complaint is the inflation routine. For best effect you really need to take your shoes and socks off and pump it with your bare feet. At first it's a little strange but you get used to it. It seems to take forever before it's rigid enough to sit on though. I tried using my hands instead, but it didn't seem to work as well. It's so big that trying to blow it up with your mouth would be quite a challenge. Anyway, it's a great pad and I can verify that the company stands by their lifetime guarantee. The first one I ordered had a defect and had a slow leak after I used it a few times. It was over a year after I bought it when I emailed the supplier, and they sent me a new one at no charge. So far it performs exactly as I desired. I'm quite satisfied with the purchase.

I'm old enough to where I can't lay directly on the ground when I camp or my joints complain the next day. I am short and round and didn't want a single sleeping pad that I would roll off of, so I purchased the double. It is very thick and comfortable once it's blown up. NOTE: Put it in your tent before you inflate it, or you will have to inflate it twice. The built-in foot pump is very clever, but it takes about 300 pumps to fully inflate the mattress, which can be a bit of a workout when you're short, round, and stomping the foot inflation device while half hanging out of your tent when it is 90 degrees F outside. Maybe if your feet are bigger than mine, it will blow up faster. Also, it does seem to blow up faster if you are wearing socks. All in all, it was extremely comfortable. It could technically fit two people, but only if they are on the thinner side and not bed hogs. The temperature at night got down to 41 degrees F, and I did not feel cold from the mattress, although I have no idea what its "R" value is. I wouldn't want to camp much colder than that, personally, but only because I prefer warmer weather. Deflating the mattress upon pack out was an easy process. I did have to roll over it quite a bit to get all the air out, and it never quite got back down to its original size. It was a challenge to get it back into its stuff sack. I finally got it to fit, but I had to roll it up twice and swear a lot. This is the perfect size sleeping pad for a plus-size person, two thin people, or a regular-size person to share with their kiddo or maybe even for three smaller children. The material felt very durable, especially considering the stomping and rolling. which is pretty impressive since I'm not very gentle with my things. I am pleased with this purchase.

So we camp... a lot. We have slept on the ground, used yoga mats, lugged big air mattresses and pumps, and even tried those expensive thin self-inflating pads... This is the hands-down winner of them all. The ground is horrible, the yoga mats are too thin, the big air mattresses transfer too much movement from one person to the other and make for a horrible night's sleep (plus insulation is awful in cold weather), and the self-inflating pads don't offer enough cushion! This sleeping pad shocked is both, it is affordable, super comfortable ESPECIALLY for side sleepers, thin enough that it doesn't have insulation issues, doesn't transfer movement and thus doesn't wake up the other person, stays inflated every night until you let the air out, is compact and light enough to backpack around. I'm not sure why people say it is so hard to pump up and is NOT complicated OR difficult to pump up with your foot (unless of course you're an idiot, lazy, or a paraplegic... however a paraplegic would easily figure out you can use your hands). We didn't need any instruction manual or "how-to" video to figure out you repeatedly step on the picture of a foot. So glad we added this to our camping gear!!

I'm giving this 5 stars because it does what it's supposed to do. It inflated to a very comfortable thickness, its light weight, and has an inflation device that works well. It took me 4 minutes 45 seconds to pump up the pad using my hands. They show you stepping on the inflation area with your foot, but that would have taken longer (I can cover more area and seal the valve better with my hands). And I would have been standing on one leg. I know I would have looked cool standing on one leg, but hey.. I prefer comfort to being cool. Using the inflation device was tiresome and hard on my wrists, but it worked well. I would have preferred a dual stuff/inflation bag. It does have a separate "deflation valve" that could be used by your partner to blow into with their mouth and cut the inflation time down if you're in a hurry... A thick pad was a must for my significant other. After a trip, she declared this to be "the best air mattress I've ever slept on!". I found it to be comfortable too (I'm a side sleeper), and this definitely keeps my body parts off the ground. You definitely know when the other person gets on or off the pad, but with both of us laying on it, there's so much pressure in the pad you don't feel the other person move around much. As long as it doesn't start leaking, it'll be a great pad. The material seems good, but when you're trying to make something lightweight and inexpensive, you can't expect this to survive abuse.

Thick, comfortable for just an inflatable bed, and it perfectly fits two people in a tent. Just what I was looking for, and you can't get anything better for the price. Holds air, fits nicely into the bag it came in, and the foot pump is convenient! My family may buy a second one just to have around because it's such a good deal

Air leakage during first use and weighs more than 3.5 pounds I took this sleep pad to use on a backpacking trip with my husband and I. It is not light weight or compact. The built in pump took about 10 minutes to air up the pad. It was comfortable at first, but I keep waking up several times throughout the night because it had deflated at least halfway and requires to be aired up again. I’m returning immediately.

It was easy to inflate once you get the hang of it. Took me probably 3 mins. It's compact size and light weight was what we needed for camping. It kept it's shape the next day, didn't lose any air.

Comfortable sleeping pad. The pump was easy to use and I like that it is part of the mattress. The instructions were a bit confusing as I think it must have been translated into English from another language. But it is good. I definitely recommend the product!! I can't wait to go camping now!
