Well made, versatile device. Could be better!
Installed it on my unfinished garage wall. Had to put up a sheet of OSB over the studs. Then mounted the hooks thru the OSB, into the studs. Do NOT use the enclosed bolts. First one broke off tightening it by hand into a pre-drilled hole. I immediately went to HD and bought 2.5” x 5/16 stainless steel lag bolts. I installed one hook, then leveled the bar, and marked where the second hook would go. Repeat for the second set of hooks. One review noted the hooks were level but the bar was not. My hooks are not exactly level, but the bar is. Which obviously is what you want. One note about the bolts, pretty sure they are concrete bolts not wood. Which might explain why I broke one. If using wood install, buy the stainless lag. The black bolt covers are way to small. Don’t really need them. And don’t open any inclosed boxes with a knife. You will cut one of the arm pads like I did. They should have been placed the box pads facing each other.Assembling it was easy. One review said the holes didn’t match up but I didn’t find that to be the case. There is just a picture on how to assemble and no instructions to assemble to your wall but it’s simple. I just based it off how high I could reach and made sure dip bar was high enough so that when doing leg lifts for abs, I had to get on my toes to touch the floor. Set higher than my elbow.Happy with my purchase overall and would recommend!!

Doesn’t mount well on standard wood studs, but does work.
I mounted this on the wall of my gym on the standard/code allowed stud width (wood frame house with drywall). I’m sure many would do the same. It works, but the wall hooks barely fit between the bolt ends/nuts inside the frame and as such takes a bit of time to switch positions from pull-up to lateral dip positions as you need to weave it in side-to-side to avoid the bolt ends and get the hooks to the bar. More problematic is that the lower dip mount hooks hit the back side arm pads when in pull-up position and push them outward, I assume this will ultimately damage them over time ripping the vinyl cover and/or bending the sheet metal supporting them. I understand that you recommend specific width positions for the hooks, but that would require that I install additional, non-supplied mounting boards to allow for me to install the mounting bolts in a location other than the wall studs. I may ultimately make this modification, but buying, citing, finishing additional mounting boards is a pain in the butt and is unprefrerred. Your design team may want to perfect a design that allows likely 90%+ of your customers to easily install your product. One other issue is the bolt ends for the arm pads. When in pull-up position, the bolt heads rest against the wall instead of the black uprights. This causes them to dig into the drywall. Welded internal nuts or carriage bolts would be a better solution. With all of that said, I like the unit and am enjoying it. Thank you.

Good product, poorly executed.
One of the mounting screws snapped as I was mounting the hooks to the wall, so I’m not sure how I feel about hanging from this thing. Seems to hold up OK so far with the other three screws, but I’m going to be very cautious when using this thing. As the other reviews have stated, there aren’t any instructions for mounting the hooks to the wall and for some reason it comes with very long wall anchors. It’s not really clear what they are for, but I’m guessing they are for mounting into a concrete or brick wall and not drywall. Some reviewers said they mounted into the drywall without using the studs but that sounded very risky to me as the bar itself is heavy and then add 170-220 pound person to that and I’m pretty sure a thin plastic wall anchor is not rated for that kind of load. Also, one of the screws for mounting the arm pads was too short, so again, I’m only using 3 screws instead of the 4 provided. There is a pretty minor design flaw with the item too, the screws for the arm rests are not flush to the item so it ends up digging into the wall when used in the pull up bar position.Ironically enough, unlike other reviewers, I had no problem assembling the bar itself and the instructions for that were pretty clear to me.Overall I think it could be a great product and it’s perfect for my needs, just wish it was executed better.

Sturdy, well made product that’s worth the $$
Great product. Seems to be well made and sturdy, simple to put together and a great multipurpose piece of equipment for those looking to save space or just get the most out of one piece of equipment. However, Had I not had an understanding beforehand of how to mount something into the wall, the directions in the video don’t really go into a whole lot of depth on it. Most people probably don’t own a stud finder and it seems like it should be common sense that you can’t just drill into drywall but it should be in the directions. Another thing was that, had I not already had the appropriate drillbit, the instructions (as far as i saw) give no indication as to the size one should use and could become very frustrating to someone without a basic knowledge of putting wall anchors into the wall. I ended up using a 10mm because it was the biggest i had and just barely got the anchors in there. So overall, it’s a great product and I would reccomend it to anyone looking to add some essential pieces of equipment to their gym while saving space and money, however the directions could use some fluffing up so anyone at any level of competency could install.

Adequate but requires modifications.
At first glance, the quality and sturdiness was underwhelming. The “vinyl” and the padding seems thin and cheap, but I plan to recover them. The metal seems a bit lighter than you would want for gym equipment you will be hanging off of. I did see the reviews about the provided bolts breaking so I bought heavier duty ones at Lowe’s. Whatever bolts this comes with seem to be a bit lighter weight than steel. So far it seems adequate- it is able to hold me (130lbs), but we will see how it holds up when my husband uses it.Assembled easy (5 min). Will not assemble perfectly square but seems good enough.I mounted it onto drywall through studs, but also boarded up my wall for the area that the equipment will lean against, otherwise it will bust right through the wall.(Second picture shows equipment after being reupholstered)

Consigliatissimo!
