Just what I needed
I had a couple of projects that needed electric string lights and I couldn't find any in the hobby/ craft stores so I found just what I needed on Amazon and at a very good price and I didn't have to wait until Christmas. These are perfect I would buy them again

traditional lights work as advertised, way better than cheezy LEDs
I got this for my 80+yr old mother and a small 3ft Christmas tree she has used for years. The old string burned out and I could not get it working again so I got this one. I don't know why Amazon has a "Timer" category for this product, there is no timer, it just plugs in and stays on until you unplug it. There is no substitute for good old fashion incandescent light bulbs.

Bought for a tropical plant!
Yes, you read that headline correctly.Summer of 2023, I purchased a red banana plant. The plant wasn't very big at the time, only about 5-6 inches tall. I needed something for a planter I got as a gift, and thought this plant would look amazing in the planter. That didn't last long, when I had to get a bigger planter, as the heat from my back deck encouraged the plant to double in size within two weeks time! When cold weather forced me to bring the plant inside (first time growing this type of tropical plant), I staged it in a corner near a register (for heat) and the window would afford some daylight, but not direct sunlight. Sadly, to cut down on heating expenses, the thermostat was turned way down, and the plant was being kept warm enough.Off to my local garden shop where I purchased the plant. A kind lady said, 'Do you have any strands of incandescent lights, like Christmas lights?' I told her I didn't. So she encouraged me to go online and get a strand and wrap them around the plant, to help keep it warm. 'I've had customers with palm trees do the exact same thing in the winter to keep them warm. And those trees are out in the elements and the lights seem to help,' she told me. I reiterated that here I thought people were doing it for decoration, as I've seen that here in the PNW. She responded that it was actually to keep the plants warm!!!I learned something new. My poor plant lost a lot of growth this winter. I'm hopeful that now, with the strand of lights, it will bounce back better than ever (there is some new growth on it, so, fingers crossed!). And once the warm weather is steady here, the plant will go back to it's spot on my deck!

Simple Lights That Work
I needed a set of lights to replace one that had been on my foe Ficus tree in my entryway of my home. The last set had been on it for the last 10 years and they finally stopped working. These were an excellent replacement as you can see in the pictures and if they last half as long as the last set I will be happy.

As described
Used them often but the last few sets I purchased seem to burn out very quickly considering we only have them on for 1-2 hours in the evening.
