The Consultant Interview (Success in Medicine)

Fantastic book. A must read for all trainees. I wish I had it when I first joined my HST. The book gives a great sense of direction and purpose for trainees.

This book has got all Brownie points. I read it with great enthusiasm. I am in the eve of attending an interview as an AAC panel member which will be a new role for me as a senior consultant. I strongly recommend this book not only interviewees but also assessors too. It was a great pleasure to find out from which island coming from and now, I know how to recognise the interviewees' or assessors' island. The book was written right from reality,contemporary,well balanced, drifting and hits the point. Well done to the authors!! In my view, this book is a holy book in its category.

Gives a good insight into the consultant interview process and how to prepare - ideally read in final st years and again prior to interview. Worth the Kindle price. Would have got 5 stars if updated with hot topics.

this is a good book because it gives an over view. It is relevant for those who have no idea to those who want to brush up and plan. No one book can cover everything but this is certainly a good start.

Excellent easy read with a easy to navigate chapter outline depending on how much time you have to hand. Well worth the investment.
