My husband's clothes never smelled fresh (or clean) when pulled from the dryer. He works outside and during the hot months of summer will sweat profusely. I didn’t know I needed this until I used it. I have five dogs, and unfortunately everything they lay on which is usually my blankets or bed, leaves their odor no matter what I use to wash our blankets. I can always smell them on there. I took advantage of a promotion here on Amazon and bought three of these. To this day I now use it faithfully every time I do my laundry. These don’t mask the odors they truly remove them.
