All ten episodes from South Park's epic 17th season are stuffed into this exclusive two-disc set. Join Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Princess Kenny as they infiltrate the NSA, thwart patient zero, tame some strange and fight in the greatest battle of their young, hot lives. Throw in some big floppy never-before-seen deleted scenes to dangle in your face and you've got a box set that will make everyone jelly. Yummy yummy! Review: South Park returns to top form!! - For me, season 17 of South Park is the best set of episodes since season 11. Though S17 is only 10 episodes, it is still packed with great stories and many funny moments. "Informative Murder Porn", "Goth Kids", and of course the Black Friday trilogy are my favorites of this season. In fact, "Black Friday", "A Song of Ass and Fire", and "Titties and Dragons" are easily among my all-time favorite SP episodes. So AWESOME and EPIC in every way!! Forget about Bigfoot, UFO's, or the Loch Ness Monster!! How Bob's Burgers won the emmy this year over South Park is one of the greatest mysteries of all-time!! Again, if you are a die-hard South Park fan like me, Season 17 is a very worthwhile purchase!! Review: 17 years... It still makes me smile! - First of all, this is the first season on DVD since South Park has changed to "normal" shorter seasons, and so there are only about 2/3 the amount of episodes as seasons past; however, it is at least 2/3 the cost. It's obvious that South Park has changed a bit over the years, for better or worse. I still love the show though. The creators sense of humor has always been able to hit my funny bone just right. And this season is no different. Yes, Season 17 has the memorable Black Friday trilogy, which is an homage to Game of Thrones. And that trilogy is great, but there's still some other really funny moments in all the other episodes. Like Ike (Kyle's little Canadian brother) wanting to "Tame Foofa's strange" (one of the characters from the kids show Yo Gabba Gabba). It's so off that you can't help but laugh.

South Park season 17
South Park is one of my most favorite shows! It was one that pushed everyone’s buttons and touched on several issues throughout the years and fast became in pace with the Simpsons. Trey Parker and Matt Stone created such an incredible series that I own every season that’s out so far. This adult themed animation series is worth every penny to snag complete seasons from Amazon even if you buy for streaming purposes. My reviews for every season I have purchased from Amazon will be the same. I’m including images from each seasons disc as the differences

A highly inventive and reflective cartoon series.
I love the South Park series, there must be about 20 years worth available on Amazon. It is a reflection of how things are in America and to some extent in the rest of the world. It's very clever and fun. This set covers Season 17.

Good Episodes and 'Meh just okay' episodes
South Park is hands down one of my all-time favorite shows and I own every season. I usually buy them as soon as a season is released. This season, like I have found with all other seasons of South Park over the last few years, has it's good episodes and it's 'meh just okay' episodes. All in all it was a good season though. I loved that they did another trilogy and those 3 episodes are by far the best and worth the $20 for this season (Black Friday, A Song of Ass and Fire, and Titties and Dragons). This was obviously a great way to also promote their new video game The Stick of Truth (which is also AMAZING and any South Park fan should pick it up) as it was released shortly after this season and follows the same theme. There were also a couple other episodes that were good and worth watching. It almost feels like are slightly losing their touch with this show however. It doesn't have the same oomph that it used to. It is still extremely amusing but over the last couple of years the seasons haven't been continuously laugh out loud funny with every episode. Still like I said it has enough episodes that are funny that make it worth the $20. My personal favorites are Black Friday, A Song of Ass and Fire, Titties and Dragons, The Hobbit, Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Poser, and Informative Murder Porn. This is also the first season with their newly designed beginning. I'm seriously bummed out that they have now cut the show from their original 14 episodes down to only 10 per season (starting with season 17). But maybe it's a good thing with the way these seasons have been over the last few years. I really feel like after season 14 things got a touch stale and it wasn't the same South Park we had grown to love. Even though each season has it's episodes that make it worth it they just don't seem to be the same (this is all just my personal opinion). I am a true South Park fan and no matter what I will continue to watch the show and buy the seasons. I just really hope that maybe now that they have cut the season down from 14 to 10 episodes they will feel a little less pressure (cause we all know they have a lot going on these days) and will be able to put their all back into making amazingly, laugh your face off funny episodes.

Didn't think South Park could get funnier than the past......
Leave it to South Park to peg every social issue worth discussing. Cartman's anger at the government which ends in him creating his own "sh*tter account" to communicate with other "sh*tter" telepathic transmissions .... well, watch it, you'll get it. Informative Murder Porn takes issue with so many things wrong in so many places and manages to inspire affirmative nods. World War Zimmerman shows the absurdity of stand your ground laws and how they are interpreted. Dawn of the Posers - 5* Taming Strange will introduce new words from Canada.

duh
If you're looking at this you already know southpark is the greatest show known to man, and possibly aliens (not Juan and jose).I dumped this well packaged dvd in my xbox 1 and immediately grew a beard. The intro began to play and a bald eagle flew into my living room and winked at me. If you don't buy this, the terrorists win!

Bello e divertente!

The best adult cartoon out there!
This is the best adult cartoon that has ever been invented. I remember when I was a child I had to sneak behind my father's back if I wanted to watch this show. This show pushes the envelope like no other show has ever done before. The best part is that southpark is still strong.

Game of consoles
A two disc dvd box set, containing all ten episodes of the seventeenth season of cult tv cartoon show South Park. Yes, ten episodes. This is the standard length of the seasons from now on. The packaging is thus slimmer than before, with a pull out box inside a cardboard one. The cardboard one has a flap on the left side that the pull out box does tend to get stuck on. So pull the former out first to avoid aggravation. Language and subtitle options are: Languages: English, Dutch, German. Subtitles: English, Dutch, German. As usual, most episodes tend to take a current issue - current at the time it was made - and use them as the basis for something happening in the town which quickly escalates. Episodes - which have an impressive new title sequence - are: Let go, Let gov. Cartman tries to be like Edward Snowden and get the secrets of the NSA. A superb season opener with some hilarious takes on people overusing social networking. Informative murder tv [not the real title, but that wouldn't get past the amazon language detector]. The kids try to stop their parents watching sensational true crime documentaries. The parents can only get their shows back by understanding a certain video game. Another very solid episode with some fun animation. World War Zimmerman. Following the verdict in the Trayvon Martin case, Cartman takes drastic steps to make sure people don't riot. This has one superb scene all about the verdict, and is also a very funny parody of the film World War Z. But it might not work well for anyone who hasn't seen that. Goth Kids Three; dawn of the posers. The goth kids get their own episode - and title sequence - as they fight to stop themselves from being turned into Emos. A great and very funny character showcase. Taming strange: Ike hits puberty and grows apart from Kyle, whilst a young music star tries to change her act. A brilliant episode with some scenes that leave you in stitches. And some great Canadian scenes as well. Ginger cow; Cartman turns a cow ginger as a joke. Which leads to peace in the middle east. Kyle can't tell anyone the truth without spoiling that. And Cartman knows it. A solid episode, but not quite as good as the first five. And one where you need to listen to the commentary to really get the point of it. The next three episodes; Black Friday, a song of ice and fire and itties and dragons [the last two again changed titles to get them past the language detector] are one long story. A parody of Game of Thrones. As the impending sales day allows the kids, who have become rival factions of fantasy warriors, a chance to get new games consoles. But which system is the best? Being a three parter allows the story space to really grow, there's some great humour. And another great bit of unique animation. Season finale the Hobbit sees Wendy campaign against photo shopping. Which spoils the reputation of a reality tv star. A character we've not seen in a while doesn't like that at all. Another excellent episode, with a great and very funny guest character. And a surprising but nice end. Even though there's less episodes than usual, this is a really good season. It's well worth five stars. The only extras are the usual mini - commentaries on each episode from the show creators. No longer than five minutes. Sometimes containing strong language. But always smart funny and interesting. There's also four minutes of deleted scenes from across the season. These can only be watched all in a row rather than individually. But are worth a look.
