Better than the reviews let u believe
In spite the not great review I decided to try it instead of printing a 3D one and buying the blades. It worked great. In 10 min I had all the holes in My Festool MFT done. It made a little mess that was vacuumed afterwards. So now all have a chafer. Not sure why it says reamer - It is NOT a reamer - it only creates a recessed ring to facilitate an easier bench dog insertion. it can’t enlarge the hole. Perfect fit for 20mm holes. Before and after pictures. Make sure to bottom it straight into the table to get flat and full chamfer.

3/4" tool mars the wood surface.
The description says the body of this tool is made of stainless steel. It's very lightweight and feels like aluminum. Whatever the tool is made of it leaves a very dark black ring on the wood surface, around the top of the dog hole. The only way to remove that ring is with aggressive sanding of the wood surface. It didn't matter if I turned the tool fast or very slow, it left the 1/4" wide ring around the top of the hole, every time, starting with the first hole I used it on. I wanted this tool to ream and chamfer the bench dog holes in a 3/4" thick, sheet of plywood. After trying various techniques on 10 different holes, I gave up and returned the tool. It's not a reamer and chamfer. It only cuts a chamfer around the top edge of the hole. I was looking for a tool that also reamed out the hole, making it a uniform 3/4" diameter, cleaning out the inside of the bench dog hole. Like other reviews, I also experienced a lot of tear out from the chamfer blade.

Way easier to use than the more expensive orange 3 letter ones
The champher is a bit too deep for my preference, but it certainly doesn’t deter me from using it.

as described
no sure why other complain about this not working, it worked great for me on my Festool MFT table.

Just use your router with a chamfer bit
Meh…don’t waist your time. Just use a router with a chamfer bit. It “works”, but the cut was rough, and the aluminum streaked the top. I stopped using it after two holes and just switched to using a trim router and chamfer bit.

great chamfer tool - this works really well for setting nice edges on the workbench tops

It’s not 3/4
Do not buy It’s not 3/4 It’s slightly larger than 3/4 and doesn’t fit unless your gonna make you dog holes larger then everything else doesn’t fit

It’s mid
Does a good chamfer but it arrives extra dull.

Nice and solid reamer!
Very well made reamer with a rotatable carbide cutter - no issues chucking this into a cordless drill. I got the 20mm version even though the dog holes in my bench are 3/4, my reasoning is that it is pretty simple to shim this arbor out 1mm for the 3/4 dogs, given that this is just a reamer and I won't be running it hard at high RPM.

"Dull" cutter, nice machining on tool
Overall it is nicely made, but the cutter is "dull" It is actually just as it should be but the design for a machine tool has a blunt edge with a gutter behind it. This works for some metals. It leaves a ragged edge on plywood. I will get around to grinding it back eventually. From the look of it, they all have this cutter, though there are plenty of alternatives on the market. The is one that cost a lot more from the UK, and it works.

It doesn’t fit in my 20 mm holes.
I bought 20 mm specific bit specifically to work with this and it’s too big to fit in the hole very disappointed

Fantasic workmanship and a beautifully machined bit but function leaves a bit to be desired
I chose this 20mm bench dog hole chamfer bit for use on an upcoming resurfacing of my work bench. I've not used bench dogs before but with this resurfacing, I'm looking into learning how to make good use of this technique for my woodworking projects. Upon initial inspection of this tool, I found the machining to be very precise and refined. The bit and the blade appear to be meticulously machined with no imperfections from what I can see. The weight of the small bit is impressive and leads me to believe that it is the result of good workmanship on the part of the manufacturer. As far as function goes, I found a similar result to some of the other reviewers of this product. When testing this bit on some scrap material before I put it to use on my actual bench, I found that tearout is indeed an issue. I was able to overcome this by spinning the bit quite fast in my drill and lowering it very slowly into the hole. When I plunged it in quickly or started spinning it while inserted into the dog hole, I did experience a fair amount of tearout. I haven't used a chamfer tool like this before so I can't speak to the right technique but from experience, spinning it quickly but moving it down slowly does the trick. That said, this will make for a slower job but since it's possible to use this properly after testing on scrap, I'm pleased with it. As the blade has no support behind it for tearout, go slow and you should be OK.
