A must read for all women of all ages!
This book makes you realise there definately IS an alternative to surgery for pelvic issues. Women no longer have to accept the life limiting issues of pain, discomfort and incontinence that this brings. After a tail bone injury and 2 assisted births, I have been on a long journey to fix myself (non-surgically) It has taken me almost to the age of 60 to finally find the help I need via specialised pilates and physio including learning about my body, how to breath, relax my tense body, even down to changing the shoes I wear and I am finally living a much better life. I would like to see every new Mum or pelvic injury patient in hospital given a leaflet about this book! It takes a multi-pronged approach. With the help of wonderful people like Claire, educating us and shouting from the roof tops and talking about a topic most of us do not discuss. Most of all, giving all of us HOPE.

Solid science, not well written
I'm grateful to this author for being so open about her own struggles, then developing her knowledge and making it available to us. However, much of the content is telling you how good and noble the author is, how much people love her and her system, and that her system is called the Whole Body Pelvic Health Method, a phrase repeated on nearly every page. Many authors include a quote at the beginning of a chapter. She does this, and lists the quote as being hers -- she literally puts her name there. As if the whole book weren't hers to begin with. That's a new one. Her style is very informal, which is OK and works well with her transparency about intimate details about women's physiology. I just wish she had gotten to the meat of the method sooner without all the hype.

Very informative and helpful
So much common sense and great explanations on how to feel more at ease in your own body. Very useful even if not actually suffering from prolapse etc. Just for information on how to trust your female body and feel well. Very happy I bought this book.

Retrain your pelvic floor
Claire's book is easy to read and contains a simple plan on how to retrain your pelvic floor. She has successfully treated her own prolapse using this method, which also works for incontinence. Have a read and give it a go!
