DJI Mic Mini Transmitter (Arctic White), Ultralight, Detail-Rich Audio

The DJI Mic Mini Transmitter delivers exceptional technical performance in an ultra-compact form factor. Despite its small size, it provides clean, natural audio with excellent clarity and very low noise, thanks to its high-quality omnidirectional microphone. Works with smartphones, cameras, and computers via Bluetooth. Pairing is fast and reliable, with a strong, low-latency connection that holds up well even at longer distances—ideal for interviews, vlogging, and run-and-gun filming. Battery life is excellent for its size, easily lasting a full day of shooting, and USB-C charging is quick and convenient. Build quality is solid and lightweight, making it comfortable to wear discreetly on clothing without pulling or shifting. Spring loaded clip or magnetic clip. Integration with DJI devices and smartphones is seamless, and setup is intuitive even for non-technical users. Overall, the DJI Mic Mini punches well above its weight, offering professional-grade wireless audio performance in a tiny, portable package. Excellent value and highly recommended for content creators, videographers, and anyone who cares about reliable, high-quality sound.

Delivered in advance of its estimated date and I already have a DJI Mic Mini already. This is my second one. I bought the second one for when I want to interview someone when I make my videos. They are excellent and pair well with either the DJI OSMO Pocket 3, DJI OSMO Action 5 Pro and my most recent purchase the DJI Nano. There appearance looks clean and professional. Sure there is no back up audio recorded to the device like the DJI Mic 2 which I also own. But I’ve always found that a bit of a faff. As with all the DJI products I own I’ve found them to be of very high quality and affordable too. This Mic Mini in white cost me £23 which is a bargain I could not miss.

I bought this item to use with my Action 5 Pro, and the sound quality is amazing. The mic is super light and the signal is really strong. It's so convenient to take it everywhere and start recording right away. The connection is really stable, so I don't have to worry about losing any key messages, especially when I'm hiking. The only downside is that I can't charge the mic directly and have to use the charging dock. But overall, it's a great product. Plus, the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this mic as all DJI products. Build quality is 10 out of 10. Battery life great, didnt measure exact life time, but i used it for good few hours and still had charge in it. It is called Mini for a reason, very portable, easy to use on any piece of clothes. Sound quality is perfect, comes with the wind cover if need it. In general for the price its very good microphone. I even gor reciever and case with second mic.

One of the best value for money products I’ve ever bought. High quality product, from the case, charger through to the mic and even the magnet. Top tier. Makes me wonder how good the higher range of DJI are!

Its a good mic but the noise cancellation doesn't work well.

Can’t complain about the mic Mini for the price. Sound quality is good, it’s reliable, small, lightweight and has great battery life. I always use it with a the included dead cat because I hate wind noise. Will connect directly with a phone or DJI camera via Bluetooth or you can buy the receiver.

Just buy. Great product at a fantastic price.

Buen producto

As of this date, September 2026, the normal price of this item is $45.00. Additionally, this is a Next-Day delivery item with Prime, perfect for a last-minute gift or purchase. I previously tested the black version of this Mic Mini transmitter and am now reviewing the Arctic White version. In practical terms, the only meaningful difference between the two is the colour. The transmitter, accessories, operation, audio performance and compatibility are otherwise the same, so my experience with this white version essentially confirms what I found with the black one. The transmitter itself is impressively small and light. Once clipped to clothing, it is much less noticeable than larger wireless microphones I've used, and the included magnet gives another convenient way to position it. For recording while walking or moving around, the low weight is a genuine advantage because it doesn't pull noticeably on a shirt. Pairing it directly with a compatible Osmo device is where I find this version particularly useful. Not needing a separate receiver simplifies the setup considerably: fewer pieces to carry, fewer cables and less equipment attached to the camera. Once connected, it makes for a very compact recording setup. Audio quality has also been very good in my testing. Voice recordings sound noticeably cleaner and more focused than relying on the camera's built-in microphone, particularly when the camera isn't immediately in front of me. The noise reduction is useful when there is background noise, although I prefer not to use stronger processing unless the environment actually requires it, as the more natural recording is preferable when conditions are already quiet. As with the black version, I also appreciate that the package isn't literally just the transmitter. It includes useful accessories such as the magnetic clip, windscreens, charging cable, charging dock and carrying pouch, so it feels like a reasonably complete standalone package for someone who already has compatible equipment. The main caveat is still compatibility. This is the transmitter-only configuration, so if you're buying it without already having a compatible device or another way of receiving its signal, make sure you understand exactly what is included. It shouldn't be confused with the kits that also include a dedicated receiver. It's still too early to judge long-term battery degradation or how the clip, charging contacts and microphone will hold up after extensive use, but having now used both colour versions, my experience with the hardware itself has been consistently positive. Pros Extremely small and lightweight, with very good voice quality in my testing. Direct connection with compatible Osmo devices keeps the setup particularly clean, and the magnetic mounting option, windscreens, charging dock and carrying pouch are useful additions. Cons This is the transmitter-only configuration, so compatibility needs to be understood before buying it. The white version performs the same as the black one, so colour is essentially the only reason to choose one over the other. Long-term battery performance is still unknown. Who this is for Creators already using compatible Osmo equipment who want a very compact wireless microphone without adding a separate receiver, as well as anyone expanding an existing compatible Mic Mini setup and preferring the white finish. Who it is not for Someone expecting this configuration to be a complete conventional wireless microphone system with a dedicated receiver, or anyone whose equipment isn't compatible with the transmitter on its own. Durability / Build / Value perspective The white transmitter feels identical in construction to the black version I previously tested, which is exactly what I expected. The direct Osmo integration remains the feature that makes it especially useful in my setup, although longer use will still be necessary to assess battery longevity and the durability of the charging and mounting components. Final verdict (TL;DR) This is essentially the same excellent Mic Mini I previously tested in black, with the colour being the only meaningful difference. The white version delivers the same compact design, very good audio and convenient direct Osmo integration, so choosing between the two really comes down to appearance.

Honestly, this has been one of the best purchases i've made. Pairs instantly with my Osmo Action 4 and is all i'll ever need. I'm making solo content, so this is more than enough, lightweight and very small. The dynamic range on it excellent too. If you're making solo content, this is an outstanding purchase and leaves the inbuilt mic for dead. Grab it!
