The device had been plugged in and charging for a little while, and without any warning, flames shot out from the port! My daughter was holding it at the time and ended up with burns on her hand. We had to rush her to urgent care. I cannot express how terrifying this was.The build quality is beyond irresponsible — the cheap battery and poor wiring clearly make this product a massive fire hazard. It’s shocking that this is even allowed to be sold. If we hadn't reacted quickly, this could have started a full house fire.Please do not buy this. It’s not just unsafe — it’s outright dangerous. I'm reporting this to the Consumer Product Safety Commission and warning every parent and buyer:This product can and WILL put you and your family at serious risk. Stay away!

However, it's not so slow as to be unusable. It connected to Wi-Fi easily without any problems. Downloading apps takes a few minutes. I cannot comment on cellular capabilities, as it's for my six-year-old who only uses it for messenger calls. Overall, it's a good product for its intended purpose. My daughter loves it, and I've ordered a second one for my thirteen-year-old, who is interested in its novelty features. Neither child will use it as their primary cell phone, as they already have iPhones, but it's a cute and worthwhile purchase, suitable for young children as a first phone.
