Works great. Love the hub feature! I attached a fingerprint reader there. The keyboard lights up nice on Windows 11. Would give it 5 stars if the lighting was even for all the letters. The "delete" key button is too bright compared to the others. Would have liked an additional level of overall brightness as well.. The keys themselves are well places and comfortable to use for my hands. Perhaps should be a tad bit softer.

For the high price of Apple branded keyboards, they don’t make a single backlit one. I’m guessing that is because they only are only wireless and that would eat up too much battery. Since I am using this keyboard on a Mac mini, I really don’t need the keyboard to be wireless, which allows for an always on backlit keyboard. Besides, if I really want to use a wireless one I already have a mini Logitech backlit Bluetooth mini keyboard which will dim and illuminate within a few seconds of pressing a key, but I found that annoying. It did however have good battery life. This Macally keyboard is great. I often use the Mac at night and the backlit keys are really helpful, since I don’t like to keep the room bright. Because it is a wired, the backlighting always stays on. The keyboard seems rugged, and the keys have a nice feel to them with just enough tactile response for key confirmation. The keyboard also has a unique feature in that the most used keys are concave, while the function keys are convex (control, fn, opt, cmd, f keys, arrows, etc.). I like the fact that I can plug USB devices directly into the keyboard for a quick link to the mini. This especially comes in handy with the 2 USB-A ports, since the mini does not have any of those ports on the hardware. Keep in mind though that ports on the keyboard are only USB 2.0 capable, so for devices that require higher speed such as SSD’s you may want to plug those into a faster 3.0 port. Macally doesn’t really disclose that they are using a USB 2.0 hub anywhere in the user guide, box, or product page. I’m trusting another reviewer for that one. The Macally Backlit keyboard checks all my boxes of things that I wanted. First and most importantly for me is that is backlit and stays lit the whole time the computer is on, Second it is full size with a numeric keypad, third it has the USB interface (though not necessary it is definitely an added bonus), and last but not least, it is a name brand. Macally has been around since my Power Mac days, so they were familiar to me. It was a name I trusted.

I've been searching for (and I mean specifically) a white, backlit, slim, wired, keyboard for my windows PC, with no luck. Finally, I eliminated "windows" from my search, and the Macally keyboards started showing up in my search results. Most did not meet my criteria, in fact I ended up returning the first one I bought due to lack of functionality. Then I found this keyboard and, well, HOLY MOLEY -- this is the one!! THE Most Perfect Keyboard Ever Created!!! It works perfectly with PC. It's backlit, it's slim, and QUIET!!!. I love this keyboard. I hope it has a long life.

Good inexpensive keyboard. Doesn't feel *quite* as solid or high quality as the Apple keyboard it replaced. But works well, not costly, nice to have the backlit keyboard option (you can turn it on/off or brighter/dimmer as needed), and I love having a dedicated key for taking screenshots.

I really like this keyboard. Very easy to set up and the back lighting is great. My only complaint is that the caps lock light is in the top right instead of in the caps lock key itself. Not a huge problem though -. Just an annoyance.

I love this replacement keyboard. I've used my Apple keyboard for many years, but needed a second one for another computer. This keyboard is good value for the money and is very quiet. I really like the quiet keys since my previous keyboard was too noisy. The keyboard connects easily to a computer or monitor with USB-A or USB-C connectors. The keys are comfortable and seem durable.

Very well made. Works as good as OEM products. Good price.

I do NOT know why apple cannot come up with a numeric backlit wired keyboard. I work late into the evenings and do not always like lights on, I dig the ambiance! And my eyes are terrible, so it's hard to see the keys. This keyboard hits all the points, I especially like the two USBA ports and one USBC port on the keyboard, they make things more functional and I don't have to reach around to the back of my mac to find a usb port to plug something in to. As far as the keys and the plastic components of the keyboard, I don't have issues with any of these things. The keys respond really well as I type this, and the plastic feels totally fine. I dunno, I've worked on plenty of windows machines and everything is plastic there, I have NO issue with it - so long as the keyboard works well, which it does. If you've been on the fence, I'd say take the leap and get this keyboard. I've been using apple products for forever and macally has been around the whole time. I find the quality to be on par with an apple product, at a fraction of the cost, AND it adds the usb ports (two USBA and one USBC) on the keyboard, which makes hooking things up a breeze.

USB C works but not with the adaptor to USB. Needed a 3.0 adaptor from USB to USB-C to be able to plug in USB drives on the keyboard.

So far so good. Nice touch. Smaller keys and closer together. Quiet. I gave it only 4 stars because I haven't tested the hub yet. Otherwise a good buy.

Satisfied. The lighting is great !! 4 on 5 only because the typing is a bit louder than my original Apple keyboard.
