My toe nails have gotten thicker that I could not cut them with standard toe nail cutters. These wide opening and very sharp cut my toe nails easily. Made in China, but very good quality. Comes with tin like storage box and for the price, you can't go wrong.. Item was shipped from China but they arrived in less than a week. Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend.

Sharp and excellence in cutting toenails

Ranking this item as a 4 plus. Wide opening. Cuts well on thick nails. Works as advertised. Only drawback is for a senior with issues regarding hand pressure; this clipper would be better if the handle were slightly longer. Also may pose a problem for someone who has difficulty sliding the lock button. Otherwise, grip is easy and comfortable. Overall, this clipper is very good and I would absolutely recommend it.

Awesome, wieldy power. Opens wide and has a lot of mechanical advantage to cut the most stubborn of nails. Super sharp, just be very careful to not catch any skin. Would not recommend as your daily driver for normal nails, but definitely put this in your arsenal for the thicker/stubborn nails. I've had mine for over a year now, and they're still in excellent condition. Haven't rusted or shown any wear. Highly recommend for thumbs and toes.

This clipper is pretty cool, but, I purchased it to trim my big toe nail and it is not strong enough to do the job.

Well firstly take note of the reviewer who warned against 'chomping' off your toe. The clippers are very effective and since they're longer than the standard nail clippers you get in Boots, you can get a lot more 'wellie' on them. And sharp. The slanted clippers however I didn't like quite as much. Unlike the main clippers you don't seem to get a 'click' when they bite into the nail. When you move them away you can see that they have cut, but since they're not as wide as I expected, I found I had to bend bits of still attaches nail out of the way to get to the next bit. I also found it difficult to get at the bits right in the corner, and in fact had to get out my old clippers (the ones that look like curved wire cutters) to finish off. I did eventually achieve nails well cut back and much tidier than I'd managed previously so they clearly do the job they're being sold to do. I like the fact they come in a small tin box. The problem in our house is that stuff disappears (i.e. borrowed but never returned) so when you need it, it's not there. By having these clippers stored in a featureless tin means I can leave them somewhere handy but little hands won't recognise their existence. They seem well made and strong but of course it's a bit early to know how well they'll last having only used them once.

Ever since having the sides of an ingrown toenail taken out 40 years ago, the nail has been growing upwards more than outwards, and got to the stage about ten years ago where regular nail clippers and even heavy duty scissors just weren't up to the task any more. The nail itself looked gnarly and dirty, it was constantly rubbing against the neighbouring toe, catching on my socks, and I was having to get extra wide shoes or shoes half a size larger than normal to accommodate it. All in all, it was an outright nuisance. So when the algorithm threw these onto my screen, I couldn't press the "Buy Now" button quickly enough, and when they arrived it took all of 30 seconds to slice through years of build-up like a hot knife through butter and leave it looking and, more importantly, feeling *normal* again. This may be the sort of thing I only ever use once every couple of years, but it is more than worth the cost.

I’m usually too busy with my kids to visit a salon for a manicure pedicure , so I’m looking for a DIY toe nail clipper. I like this product because it’s easy to use thanks to its shape and the size is perfect for my nails. It comes with a small nail file, but removing the blue film is tricky because it’s too sticky. Using the clippers is smooth and meets my expectations. The only issue I’ve had is handling the slanted clippers. I need to use the front for the side left nail and the back of the clipper for my right, so I need to get used to it. Traditional ingrown clippers are easier than this one if you have ingrown nails. Also, they claim it’s stainless steel but only the slanted one seems like stainless steel as the straight clipper looks matte metal and they both are built different so I’m not sure if it’s actually stainless that will not rust if washed. Compared to similar products, this one is similar in price to higher-end options apart from the materials used. It comes with a travel-friendly case, which is a plus. I’ve used it a lot and haven’t had any problems so far. I recommend it if you want an affordable quick fix of toe nails. Thanks for reading my review. I hope you find it helpful. 👍
