IRON FORGE CABLE 14 Gauge Primary Automotive Wire - 10 Roll Assortment Pack - 100 Ft of Copper Clad Aluminum Wire per Roll

Good price and flexible but not for use where it can get wet like under the hood etc. Looks like smaller gauge as the insulation is thinner than a lot of other brands but you get what you pay for. It is what it says it is.

High Quality Wire And Fast Shipping Thanks !!

As expected.

Very good quality , being that they are copper plated aluminum, they can break if used in a high vibration wiring. Then your better off to by marine pure copper grade wire. But it is working great on my 79 Bronco wiring projects.

This CCA 14 gauge wire from Iron Forge Cable is definitely wire that's well made and it's a product that you can trust. As an electrical contractor for almost 50 years, and someone who has been restoring 70s era muscle cars for just about as long, wire is something that I know a little bit about. Now, wire that's used in construction is totally different from wire used in the Auto industry. Having said that, quality is quality regardless of what the product is made for. This 14 gauge copper clad aluminum wire is nice and flexible with a silicone jacket which makes it perfect for wiring automobiles, and the fact that it comes in so many colors is an even bigger Plus. Now, I know this may sound silly but the colors that this company uses are nice and vibrant which is important when identifying conductors especially as they age. The color pigment in older wires tends to fade which makes it more difficult for identification purposes. These wires are extremely bright and look like they'll age well. Also, time is generally not kind to wire in terms of its flexibility. Just like skin, wire loses its elasticity and once that happens the inevitable is soon to follow. The outer jacket starts to crack which is an even bigger problem from a standpoint of safety. A degrading outer jacket on a conductor spells only one thing, that's disaster. Now, overcurrent protection or fuses are supposed to protect against things like short circuits or, God forbid, a fire resulting from a short circuit. The high quality silicone jacket used on these conductors is a great way to protect against not only fire but, it also aids in the prevention of heat damage, abrasion, along with a whole list of other things which can cause damage to a conductor. In terms of cost, this wire is extremely economically priced. To be able to get 2,000 ft of number 14 stranded wire for under $120 is a tremendous bargain. So, if you're looking for a great product at a great price, you need not look any further because this number 14 gauge automotive wire from Iron Forge is the deal you've been looking for. Plus, this company is owned by some of our Nations finest, so let's support the people that make it possible to do the things we do. Remember:FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!
