You know what, it ain’t bad
For years I have been a bit of a snob about cheap head units. Previously paying over the odds for a pioneer double din unit that had really limited functionality. For the price I really can’t complain. It includes a reversing camera. The lack of cage is a bit annoying but again I can’t really moan for the price I feel it represents great value for money. Sure it’s not as smooth as an iPad Pro but the screen is crisp and clear. It is simple to connect. Installation is a breeze. Apple Car Play works as you would expect and really updates the feel of an older car. The sound quality is reasonable. You wouldn’t be buying at this price point if you were an audiophile and your expectations have to be reasonable at this price. I haven’t had it long so I cannot comment on the longevity of the product

Updated my old vw t5
Fitted in my t5 transporter, didn't use the camera and all you have to do is disconnect the white wire on the existing wires or the pink on the new to stop interference with the phone connectivity. Connected to my Android phone and plays Spotify, phone calls, sat nav and reads text messages no problem. This is one of my best purchases, sound is better even with my original speakers.

Value for money
For the price I really can't fault it. The alternative for my car would've been nearly £200. Not an issue for me, should be noted the FM radio is not RDS, so will need retuning when you go to different locations. Also not found a way to keep the radio playing when using CarPlay for directions. But instead used Spotify/BBC Sounds etc when using CarPlay -

A thief’s dream to steal. No tools or skill required.
This stereo is excellent but honestly don’t bother as there is no way to fit it into a vehicle securely. If I want to remove mine I just put my fingers through the MASSIVE gap at the top AND bottom of the double din cut out and gently pull and out it comes. If it came with or recommended a surround that took up or hid the space then I would genuinely be over the mood but I bought this as a cheap alternative to spending £150 on market place and now I still have to go and spend £150 on another stereo as you may as well put a Big Mac Meal in there for how securely it sits in there.

Some niggles but alright for the money
It's alright for the price. Some annoying aspects like the USB/TF card flattens the folders so it's not so easy to navigate the tunes on them - when you've got 50gb spread across 150 artists, it becomes a bit tiresome. It's in Artist order but shows only the album/folder name... many of which I can't remember. Would be easier to navigate by artist. The other one is, on start up, it'll stop playing the card/USB when it connects to Android/Carplay. They are niggles but, at the price it's pretty decent. (I didn't install the camera - learnt to drive by using eyes and moving my head, yet to reverse into anything so far!)
