Chocolate Shop

This is not a wine that goes with chocolate, it is a wine that actually tastes of chocolate. You won't know how wonderful it is until you try it! It goes extremely well with a roast dinner, but I find it goes extremely well anyway - so I have to limit my purchases, as although not a big drinker as a rule I am quite happy to sit down with a bottle of an evening and sip my way to the end. (It can keep well for a few days after opening, but I am a chocoholic who likes red wine.) Whoever thought this up is a genius.

Love the flavour of this. Its a chocolate flavour red wine. I'm not a fan of red wine, but this is lovely and i have bought from this seller several times with no problems.

I agree with previous reviewers that this wine will not be to everyone's cup of tea - you will either like it or loathe it. In the end, I suppose it all boils down to personal tastes. I left this wine uncapped to chill and breathe in the fridge the day before I began to consume it, and sure enough this allowed for a mellowed, smooth taste. This wine is not as chocolatey as you might image, but the flavour is still there - I tasted a smoothness of red wine, combined with cherry and vanilla sweet overtones - you can somewhat smell and taste the chocolate, but thankfully it isn't as prevalent as you'd think. The taste belies the strength of the alcoholic content, this is ideal just to sip at throughout the evening, and I'm sure that even guest who don't usually drink could be coerced into taking a small glass, as the wine so so light and pleasant. Although I was the only one in the household who seemed to care for this, I would gladly purchase it again, as it is the best of both worlds with regard to chocolate and alcohol - really it's quite a treat!

product was great the delivery not so, firstly delivered, delivery man would not leave because he said he needed to be handed id and it needed to be signed for, my husband who is 68 explained we were still in the vulnerable isolation as per the notice on the door and therefore unable to sign for package,he said he could not read english to which my husband read out what it said, he said he still could not leave it as he needed a signature and id to verify that my husband was over 18, (my husband was quite amuse that the delivery man thought a 68 year old did not look over 18) next day the wine was delivered no problem the delivery man simply ask my date of birth and name and left the parcel in side the door as directed no problem

Imagine vinegar with cheap chocolate and you'll get a flavour of what it tastes like, the description was inviting and it certainly looks like a good buy.....but it's not (believe me) We tried this because we wanted an alternative to the Rubis chocolate wine we normally buy and it was a little cheaper, so we gave it a shot. We won't buy again and would not recommend ....others may disagree, this is our honest assessment of it.

I bought this for two different individuals for Christmas presents. The bottle looks stylish and from the outside a great buy. However both recipients tell me they couldn't drink it as it tasted so bad and had to pour it away. I was surprised as both recipients love both wine and chocolate! Perhaps it is just a matter of personal taste.

What it says on the tin. Came in protective wrapping and spotless when arrived I can't fault the delivery process. Just didn't taste that great but that's not their fault. 3 stars

My gosh such a beautiful wine sweet and delicious chocolate taste I would highly recommend it to anyone 😋 definitely buying again
