I really wanted to love these Cync GE Smart Bulbs and when they behave, they’re awesome. The app setup mostly works and is pretty simple, but every now and then one bulb develops an independent personality and refuses to connect. The voice control is fun (when it listens), and the color options definitely set the mood. Still, I didn’t expect to argue with my lighting this often. When everything syncs, it’s great, bright, efficient, and genuinely cool tech. But between the random disconnects and app hiccups, I can only give it a solid “nice try” 3/5. It’s smart… just not as smart as it thinks it is.

I'm so glad these exist. I use them for a couple of antique wall sconces in my dining room, and they are easy to set up. Great value for the money because they work seamlessly with my Google Home system. I was able to set them up on the house's lighting schedule and can control them when I am not there. Easy to dim and change colors.

We use these bulbs in our living room and 2 bedrooms . They work great with the cync app. You can choose the color and brightness of light they put out. We use that to adjust the warmth of the white. You can set it just the way you want. The app is great and easy to understand. The bulbs connect to Alexa if you have echo devices. Handy to turn light on/off without fumbling with the phone. Only drawback is they sometimes turn on for no apparent reason. Stray radio wave I guess. We just tell Alexa to turn it off when that happens. The bulbs all turn on after a power interruption but I like that.

After trying numerous brands of “smart” bulbs these were the easiest to install and seem to work consistently. They work great with Alexa and help with home automation.

I bought two of these just to try them out and I've been so happy with them, I just bought two more. Some other smart lights I have tried out (Philips Hue) use Bluetooth only (unless you buy a proprietary smart hub for $80), but these Cync bulbs use wi-fi and work with Google Home without having to buy a hub. These are very easy to set up! The Cync app is great, has all sorts of fun color effects, and also has the ability to create "routines." However, since I am mostly just doing on/off or bright/dim at specific times of day, I found it easier to use Google Home app to automate these. That app will also let you adjust the color, but it won't do the special effects. And since it connects over wi-fi instead of Bluetooth, you can control the lights from anywhere over the internet. I can even control the lights with my smart watch. With Bluetooth, you have to be a short distance away from the light, and it can be a pain to connect.

My whole house is pretty much automated. My lights turn on and off at certain times, so I don't even need to touch a light switch. I have used these bulbs for years and really like them because not only are they automated, but you can also literally have any color of the rainbow lighting up your area. You can also control the brightness, which is handy for whatever mood you're in. The only drawback I would say is that you have to use their app, which can be kind of a pain if you have other automation in your home. But since I've already set them, I really don't have to go to the app that much.

OMG, what an insanely frustrating experience for absolutely no reason. The instructions to install these are very simple and the process to install them WOULD be simple if it actually worked. I have spent the last two days trying to get these bulbs to sync to the app without success. I have other bulbs of this brand literally 15 feet away, and while that installation was also frustrating, no where close to this experience. First, can't find the bulb. Next? Can't find my network, which is WILD, and when it does find the network, can't add them to my home. I'm at my wits end. PRO TIP: Buy Philips Hue - never had a problem with installing those.

Tienen un excelente factor costo-beneficio. El hecho de que sean "matter over wifi" ayuda bastante cuando ya se tiene una red mesh en cada, ya que tienen cobertura y no se tequiere de un hub adicional como en los focos zigbee para controlarlo completamente con Alexa.
