Cortas - Baba Ghanoush Eggplant Dip, 13 1/2 oz (Pack of 6), Ready to Eat

The item is great, but unfortunately my item was shipped to the WRONG ADDRESS......yet again. It seems to be an Amazon problem. I never had this issue with eBay or any other merchant. Disappointed!

This eggplant dip is really good! I used to buy a different brand (also canned) from a local grocery store, but they stopped carrying it. I was so bummed and decided to look for an alternative. When I came across this brand, I was nervous to order because I thought it might not be as good as the previous one. Also, the reviews were all over the place. Well, I’m happy to report that this one is just as good, if not better, than the one I used to buy. It’s very authentic tasting and has an amazing grilled/smoky flavor, as it should. I don’t even find the need to add a bunch of extra stuff. I usually just sprinkle a little black pepper and drizzle some olive oil. Wonderful as a dip with so many things!

It's like eating canned smoke. I've had quality baba ganoush, and this isn't it. I was really hoping it would be good, but not true. Also the texture isn't right. I wasted my money. I'm going to give it to the local mission for the homeless.

I was surprised how tiny the cans are. I should’ve paid more attention because it’s listed how many ounces I’ve never seen a canned that tiny before it looks like those little tiny sauce cans but the product taste good.

I have a place for the best Baba Ghanoush, but I can't get there often. This fills in the gaps for my cravings. Surprisingly good for canned, just a little of that canned ascorbic acid or what ever makes canned goods taste that way. Freshen it up with lemon juice, a little garlic. Sometimes some cilantro and red pepper.Really good smokey flavor.

She (a vegetarian) ate half a can, and then her boyfriend took a can and ate it in entirety. So I ordered a can and will sample it soon.My order came. I loved it - a healthy low-calorie snack. I like it best chilled, so I put a few cans in the fridge overnight.

I have a hard time finding Baba where I am. I ordered this because the price was good so figured nothing to lose. It is not bad but way to much lemon for me. I ended up adding a can of chick peas and pureed them and the Baba together. Baba hummus. Better but still tangy.

The thing I love about this one is the chunks. It’s very smooth but there are still bits of eggplant.
