Quality-wise, it holds up, but for performance, we'll come back. It gives just enough light so you don't trip over the cat. Plus: small, discreet, easy to use. Minus: light as strong as a blown candle. Ideal for a subdued atmosphere or to make people believe in paranormal activity in your home. Multi-colored, automatic, flashing base. Compact size, but light as impressive as a smartphone in flashlight mode. Or use it to light up your miniature collection, if you have one.

Some people things the extra light in the bottom is a distraction but for us, very minor. It compliments our deceased dog. Very pretty and functions well. Lights rotate in color or can be set to just 1.

I've tried several color changing display stands that had rotating platforms. The motors ALL die within a month to a year. So this time I looked for stationary platforms with esthetic appeal. THESE are quite pretty - clear glass, and EACH comes with a battery eliminator. There is no option to select a single constant color - when power is applied, the colors rotate - end of story - but that is what I wanted - so no problem there. They ARE a bit pricey - - but all told - I'd buy them again. I have them all hooked up to a WiFi connected power switch with evening and morning schedules. So far - they've been running for several weeks now without a hitch. IF they let me down, I'll update the review - but for now they are recommended. 5/19/2020 - still running strong :) :)

I was hoping (perhaps mistakenly) that the cable was used to charge a battery (like bike lights). But this product only lights up when the ugly black (supplied) USB cable is plugged in. It ruins the display of the delicate crystal and totally defeats the purpose of trying to highlight the crystal. Unless you can hide the cable!
