I ordered this bench for my back entry & it surpassed my expectations! Wonderfully packaged, easy to assemble. The wood is beautiful, I love the live edge. It elevated my space, while providing sturdy function. One side has a lighter edge, the other darker, providing great styling options.

I love the look of thick 'live edge' furniture, but true single-pieces of good live-edge wood at this size/thickness can be very expensive & heavy. This bench is made of multiple beautiful pieces, so you get the gorgeous thick live-edge look at a better price point, with the added bonus that it's not so super heavy. It's still pretty heavy though, but VERY sturdy and the legs are very easy to put on. A tiny complaint is that the legs are biased a few inches off center to give it a 'front side/back side' and make it more stable, but I liked to 'back-side' edge facing out better, so it's a little tippy (no way to reverse the leg bias). That's on me being super picky I guess lol.

Am blown away at how nice these are. They are made of several planks secured together and finished to look like a raw slab. While they are not one solid piece of wood, they absolutely are heavy duty thick hunks of wood with lots of visual interest. They were packed very well and arrived in mint condition. The hardware is solid hunks of blackened sturdy metal. Very easily to assemble with no additional tools needed. There are level adjustment feet on the bottom for bumpy floors. Personally, I think this could hold a lot of weight. Would also be appropriate as a small coffee table. The two pieces I ordered are slightly unique giving these that handmade craftsman appearance I was looking for. Truly stunning and exceptional value.

Absolutely GORGEOUS! These benches are so well made and just beautiful. They are nice and thick so will hold weight and the metal bases are sturdy and well made. I'm very impressed by the quality and reasonable price. A great purchase!

First the Pros: The bench is heavy, sturdy and has a nice authentic natural wood appearance. It is a good size for small spaces. It came well packaged. The Cons: Very minor, the labels don't match the directions but that doesn't matter as there is only one way to put it together. There are 4 bolts that attach each leg to the base. The bolts screw into a metal part that is itself screwed into the base. However, one of these came loose and was free turning when I tried to tighten the screw through the leg. I removed the bolt and as you can see in the photo the insert came right out with the bolt. I glued it back in the base with Gorilla Wood glue. I hope it holds since it was the only one that was loose. If you have to do that, you need to put the bolt in right away and not wait for the glue to dry since glue in the hole can come up through the bottom of that piece and would likely clog up the threads so you couldn't then screw in the leg. After it was all assembled and rested to allow the glue to dry fully, I wiped it off with a soft cloth to remove dust from shipping. I noticed that the rag turned black when I dusted off the legs. I don't know why paint should rub off. The legs are metal but they are not wrought Iron or cast iron. They are hollow steel painted black. In conclusion: The bench is pleasing to look at, and feels solid to sit on, but I think the way the legs are attached should be improved.
