This is pretty nice! We ordered it for my husband who has been having a lot of neck/shoulder pain. The heat mostly hits the neck, my husband wish it would get the shoulders a little better, but he was able to twist it a bit to get the area he needs. The portability is nice! He likes being able to move around and not be plugged it. It doesn’t have a funky smell. Functions well enough and the size was great.

Love that its weighted! So comfortable and easy to use. Rechargeable so you aren't stuck in one place when using it. Different heat and time settings are great. Already recommended it to a friend!

I really like this heating pad. I have a lot of neck issues and applying constant heat really helps. This has been a gamechanger. It gets hot enough if you keep it close to your neck (more on that in a minute). I am considering buying another one so I can swap them back and forth while the other is charging. And the broader upper back heat is a nice plus (though my need is for my neck). This was the only portable heating pad that I could find that seemed to really target the neck. The scarf-looking ones don't wrap up the neck well, in my opinion. So what would make this perfect? a) The velcro closure is too loose on my neck. In order to keep it wrapped to where the the heat stays warm on my neck and the unit doesn't slide due to the weight of the battery, I use a clip to keep it tight and in place. If they extended the reach of the velcro, it would address that. b) The proprietary battery charger is annoying. If it were a USB-C, I could plug it in anywhere without having to carry along the charger. Plus, then I could charge it in the car. c) Would be nice if I could swap out the battery easily, that way I could have a second battery charged and ready to swap when the first one dies. Again, I really like this, and it helps me significantly, but those shortcomings are what keeps this from 5 stars.

Works well. Just note that heating element is only down the center of the back and back of next. No heat at the shoulders or front of the chest. I will be passing this along as a gift since I needed something that also has heat in the trapezius (shoulder) area.

Had it two months and it does not hold a charge. Now it only last for maybe 20 mins. I loved it when I first got it. Especially using it during my flights for my back spasms.

When my neck muscles cramp during hemodialysis this heating collar is a life saver. It holds its charge well. Easy to use. Effective at loosening stiff muscles. I've been using this for several weeks with no significant problems. It is a little bit large on me, but I'm pretty small so it should work for larger people too. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.
