Strider Elbow and Knee Pad Set, Protective Gear, 18 Months–5 Years, Black

These are fantastic. They were a little big for my 20 month old, but now that he is 3, it fits much better. My son is 50% for height and weight as a 3 year old and there's lots of slack left in the straps. When I first got them, I had to cross the straps. For a 2 year old, it's a little too big. It's well made and durable. My son has had several spills on his bike. This definitely saved many scraped knees and elbows. The straps do get a little twisted up with time but the Velcro remains effective after 7 months. My son is also able to run with the knee pads on so they are not too restricting.

Got these for my 2 year old - they fit great and really do work to protect. When she isn't using them my 8 year has used them as she couldn't find her other set. They fit great on her too! These are great for the price and quality and protect as they should. I will be buying another set for my other kid eventually. Pros - Cost, Quality, Great fit for lots of different size kids, Con - Found it hard for a kid to put on by themselves - other than that nitpick... they're fantastic.

I like the product but their claims that they fit 18 months to 5 years are not true. The elbow pads do not fit my almost 4 year old who, while small for his age, is DEFINITELY not the size of an 18 month old. I am going to keep them as if I dress him in extra clothes I can get them to stay on but I am not happy with the sizing at all. The knee pads do just fit over trousers. I really do wish I could find ones that really fit him properly and I was so sure these would be the ones. The product itself seems great (hence me giving it four stars) just please don't order them for your small child thinking they will fit.

This is our second set of these pads. My oldest wore them from 2-6 years old. She used them for bike riding, roller skating, and riding her scooter. These saved her from lots of scrapes and falls. One of the straps on the knee pad finally broke after four years of constant use. My 2 year old just received a set and they fit her perfectly and have already saved her knees from a couple scrapes. They are a great size for kids and grow with them. I highly recommend.

High quality, excellent protection, toddler/preschooler size. These are easy to put on and provide excellent protection. My granddaughter is 2-years-old and the knee pads are a little on the big side for her (she's average height and weight for her age). As long as she wears them over long pants, they stay up. I think they will last at least a couple of more years (durability and size-wise). She rides a scooter and balance bike and these have helped her build confidence and avoid nasty scraped knees when she falls.

I had the hardest time finding knee pads for my petite 2-yr old. They were all too big even when adjusted to the tightest fit. However...this set is great because the elbow pads are exactly the same as the knee pads but smaller!!! So I decided to use the elbow pads as knee pads and they work perfectly!!! Then, when my little one grows out of using the elbow pads as knee pads, I can use the (actual) knee pads on his knees and then switch the elbow pads to his elbows! It’s like getting 2 sets in 1! Couldn’t be happier!!!

Surprisingly, it fits my 24 month old son who is in the 25th percentile in weight. And there seems to be plenty of room left for him to grow into for the next 2-4 years. I will agree with one other reviewer that the straps are slightly short so you have to keep threading them through each time you put it on which is time consuming considering you have a toddler eager to ride his bike. But they are really sturdy and seem to protect his knees and elbows really well. Overall, I'm really glad I bought them and would definitely recommend them to others.

I was having trouble with finding elbow and knee pads small enough and of good quality for my 3 year old Grandson. I had already purchased a Strider bike for him and so was glad I could find pads from the same company. My Grandson is very tall and somewhat skinny for his age and so I was not sure if a "toddler" set would fit. These fit perfectly and I feel they will protect him well. I also think he will be able to wear these for a couple years without outgrowing them.

Ottimo prodotto, acquistato per mia figlia di quasi due anni. Le quattro protezioni sono totalmente regolabili e calzano perfettamente. Il mio dubbio era che fossero troppo grandi vista l'età della bambina, invece vanno benissimo e le potrà sfruttare almeno due o tre anni. Con Amazon tutto bene come al solito! !

It says these are from 18 months but you’ll have to have a beast of a child. My boy is 2 and the leg pads can barely stay up as I’m at the end of the velcro. However they are pretty cool and I think if your child has podgy legs you’ll be fine. And my boy will grow into them eventually! (I hope)
