Prophete Rear Reflector - Red

This is a small round reflector for mounting on rear mudguards. If you already have mounting holes, it can accommodate a range of hole spacings. If not, you'll need to drill two holes in your fender, though this is easy. Once secured, it looks like it was always there. I fitted mine to a SKS Bluemels Matte, and now don't need a reflector on my seat post to be road legal at night. This is a high quality German product complying with the strict StVZO rules. In testing before fitting it was noticeably brighter when reflecting a torch than a cheap Chinese reflector I purchased befire choosing this one. For the extra pound, it's well worth it I feel as this is a safety device.

It's not the brightest reflector, but is cheap and does the job.I'd taken the heavy luggage rack off the back of my bike which had my rear reflector on it, so wanted a basic reflector to mount to the mudguard to become road-legal again. This did the job, after loosening mudguard, drilling a hole to fit it through and re-securing the mudguard.

It was not hard to attach, it did not disintegrate during the attachment process, and it has proved small and sturdy enough to survive a few weeks of use (so far). I'm happy.

Not exactly as pictured, is about 4x5.5cm rectangular reflector, but that's no bad thing. The mount angle is 45 degrees, so I had to create a new pair of holes higher up on my mudguard to get the reflector vertical (used soldering iron to burn the holes), one for the screw, the other for the peg. The provided screw (or bolt, I guess) is not really suitable as the head doesn't have screwdriver slots and is shaped more for a spanner. So you can't really push and turn it into the back of the reflector, at least not with any tool I have. I ended up finding a more suitable normal screw of my own to mount it with. It works though, but more hassle than I expected.

I like to put a saddle bag on my bike which meant there was nowhere to fix the red rear reflector. The mudguards I have don’t have any holes so I had to drill two small holes to allow this reflector to be screwed into the fender. It was a simple and quick job. Now my bike is road legal again at night time (along with my bike lights).

It’s not rectangular, it’s round and it needs to be fitted on the mudguard. Not quite what I was looking for.

Entgegen dem Produktfoto habe ich einen eckigen und keinen runden Reflektor erhalten.Montage war einfach aber irgendwie greift die Plastiköse nicht sauber ins zweite Loch, wodurch der Reflektor nicht gut fixiert ist.Des weiteren passt der Winkel von 45 Grad nicht ganz. Womit der Reflektor jetzt etwas nach unten "guckt" und sicher nicht gut reflektiert. :-/Die Angabe des Winkels in der Produktbeschreibung wäre hilfreich gewesen.
