Well I passed so it must be good! I bought this as having signed up for a day skipper course, it was a few years since I had last sailed so this was more for revision and its works well for that. To get the phrases and correct terms in my mind ready for course was great, and it definitely made the practical course a lot easier. Highly recommended for anyone planning to take their day skipper practical

Very few pages. Too concise. No explanations. Simply a waste of money. Much better to buy Navigation Handbook by Tim Bartlett

Probably one of the most essential aids you could carry on any vessel. Very clear and concise. Fabulous to have on board as a quick reference when needed. We are all capable of short term memory loss and this is exactly where this little publication comes into a class of it's own. One word to describe this publication - "INVALUABLE"
