The Rolling Stones: Havana Moon [2 CD+DVD]

Been playing the CD incessantly. The Stones can still do it, and the concert is exciting to watch. For an old Stones fan who was at the 1969 Hyde Park concert, this confirms they really are the greatest rock'n'roll band ever. Extended versions of some classic tracks get the house rocking.

What a concert, the crowd are so emotional and the Stones are on fire right up to the finale. Bands today can learn a lot from these stalwarts of music, they don't play by the numbers but with emotion & feed off the crowd. The way Satisfaction is performed at the end is full of passion, energy due to the grateful crowd as they have never seen anything like this due to the regime in Cuba. This will be watched & played many times.

It was a great birthday gift for my fiancé. Very compact presentation, the cardboard sleeve unfolded to reveal two CDs AND then anotherfold containing the DvD!! A brilliant idea. We love it!!

A credit to the backing singers and musicians, who quite frankly out-perform 'mick and the boys' - listen to 'sympathy for the devil' . Standing of the shoulders of giants of course. Amazing that Charlie Watts is outstanding at his age - many of his fellow septuagenarians would be choosing their retirement home if they even made it that far.Best rock;n;roll band in the world without doubt.
