The Amazon Basics Portable Security Case Lock Box is one of the smartest items I sent with my kiddo to college. It’s the perfect size for keeping all those important documents (passport, extra cash, birth certificate, Social Security card) safe and in one spot. The built-in code lock is easy to use, and the ability to secure the box to a bed frame or other fixed object gives an extra layer of protection that really puts my mind at ease. It’s sturdy, reliable, and exactly what a student needs in a shared dorm environment where things can easily get misplaced or borrowed. Plus, having everything with them means I’m not stuck mailing sensitive documents back and forth. For any parent sending a student off to college, this little lock box is a game-changer. I was impressed on how easy it was to setup. It can easily be concealed in places where it can't be easily found. Great for keeping small items safe.

Brought the XXL version. The case is of a good sturdy metal quality construction. The combination lock works well and precise instructions are contained instructing how to change the combination to your own personal choice. This is an excellent portable case that I will use to secure valuable items in my car and at hotels that do not have room safes. I would recommend this product.
