The Vaonis AC022 Vespera Dual Narrow Band Interference Filter is a precision-engineered accessory designed specifically for the Vespera telescope. It selectively transmits two key nebula emission lines (O-III and H-alpha) with a narrow 12nm bandwidth, enhancing contrast and detail in astrophotography. Featuring high-quality glass, multi-coatings, and an integrated electronic micro-card, it optimizes image processing without reducing aperture size. Ideal for both urban and natural settings, this filter elevates nebula imaging but requires careful handling due to its lack of water resistance.

Do not buy!!!!!
Turns out that the Narrow Band filter will be damaged by exposure to moisture or dust and need to be replaced. Why would Vaonis make a filter that is intended to be installed on their Vespera scope and left outside for hours or overnight when any dew or light rain or windblown dust will require the user to spend another $400 to replace it???? Really terrible product development. I returned the filter for a refund.

Use only VPro filters
I like that the filter snaps in easily and securely. The computer knows what filter is on the scope through contacts on the filter. So Vespera filters are needed and are expensive. The Dual Narrow Band cost me $399. Yet worth it if you want good pics.

it worked, so worth the money. thanks, get dirty easily though. Can't be cleaned
Nebula filter is necessary for deep space nebula pictures. the dual band filter lets light from the nebula through, and stops some star light. Thanks Focus Camera. Did have problem with dust damaging the filter. We use it a lot, maybe 100 deep space nebula, galaxies, observations. Filter Can't be cleaned. too expensive, it would be no problem if these filters were disposable and maybe $50.

Cost of Filters is Extremely High.
After using the Vesperia for 2 months I have been taking great images. The scope its self is expensive. But it is well worth it if you only want DSO images. However, the cost of the filters is just insane. I can by 5 filters for my 8" SCT for that price. I'd love to have the dual band filter but after close to 2K for the telescope. I will not be buying one.
