Mizuno Women's Wave Creation 16 Running Shoe

I got two pairs of athletic shoes at the same time and I have to say these are great at what they are advertised for which is running! I don't like wearing them as much for things like plyometric cardio or other cardio videos when you jump around a lot often sideways. They just aren't designed for that. I had a foot injury so my foot is more sensitive to that and the shoes didn't hurt me but are also not as supportive on the sides as a cross train shoe is. But like I said they are amazing to run in! I don't even particularly like running and these shoes have definitely helped!! I researched online good running shoes for my foot type and stride and these were recommend and they really have made a huge difference. I use to get knee pain from running because the shoes would make me land in a way that wasn't good for me and with these since the fist time (no breaking in necessary) I have been able to run farther and without any residual pain and they make me overall feel lighter and more springy. I also use them to walk to work and back everyday and are good walking shoes as well. I haven't worn them more than a couple hours to say if they are good for all day wear but I don't see why not.

These are the best athletic shoes I have ever had. Several people commented on how attractive they are. I was pleasantly surprised at how much better they looked than shown by the photos online. The first day I wore them ended up with me on my feet for 12 hours. They were so comfortable and gave such great support that I was shocked at how I had no discomfort at the end of the day. Love this shoe. Bought the WC17 and returned it. Replaced my black WC16. With the white and pink. Room for my toes, keeps my foot stable, good response or Bounce back, doesn't bother my ankles. True to size. Not for wide feet. Average width on the narrow side Bow legged and slew foot. Average to high arches. Only thing, sometimes I hear the plate make a click sound

I only wear these shoes to run in! They run a little small - I am normally a 71/2 to 8 but always order an 81/2 in these and they fit perfectly! No break in needed - I wore them in a 10k race for the first time without any issues! Good for neutral runner with a little extra cushion.

I have worn Mizuno Wave Creations for 3 years and I absolutely hate the changes they made to the 16 series. The shoe is much narrower then the past styles and the fabric is much stiffer and does not allow as much stretch and flexibility as the past series. I typically go up 1 size for this shoe and now it feels to short on top of it all. I have 3 races coming up and had to find a new shoe quickly. I switched to the Prophecy series by Mizuno, took my first run in them and they felt amazing!

My daughter loves these shoes. She is a young doctor and wears these at the hospital. I've bought her several pairs of this shoe, about one a year for several years, at her request. She loves the color options, comfort and stability of these shoes...particularly the one that is an aqua green that matches well with surgical scrubs. She also wears them for hiking, biking and outdoor activities.

One of my favorite brands of shoes! They offer an extreme amount of support. I've had a few times where the outsides of my foot towards the top will hurt after a while but my feet supinate so it may not necessarily be a reflection on the shoes! Mizuno's are my favorite brand of shoes for support when I run compared to Asics and Brookes simply because Mizuno makes some of their shoes specifically for the sport of running. It's a great investment!

I am a big Mizuno shoe fan but this shoe fell a little short of my expectation. The bottom of the shoe is much wider then expected and the shoe over all just really was not all that comfortable. I still like this shoe, it just wont be the first pair I pick out of the closet.Size was true....I wear an 8.5 usually, and the 8.5 fit perfectly.
