Sounds great, looks good, simple connectivity.
I am impressed with the way these speakers sound. The only negative I saw in reviews was that the base frequencies were limited by the size of the speakers. That’s actually kind of an advantage for me, as really low frequency sound goes through the walls in my townhome and makes my neighbor’s mad. I found the base from these speakers is great in the frequencies that you listen to for most kinds of music. Very tight and punchy. The medium and high frequencies sound great. It definitely makes a difference when you put them on the stands that come with them so that you can point the speakers to where you’re sitting. I also like the way these speakers look. They look great on my desk without being so big that they take over the thing. The connectivity is super easy as you can just use a USB-C cable for a digital signal or you can use Bluetooth. you also have an aux cable in case you wanna hook it up to something like a smart home hub. It would be nice to have a subwoofer output in case you wanted to add a subwoofer. The Logitech speakers I’m replacing had like five different input methods and none of them we’re clearly labeled, so it was difficult to switch between the different input methods. It used to drive me crazy when the power would go out and I had to push the button five times to get it to where it would match the input that I was trying to use. This is much easier and having fewer cables makes it easy to keep your desk neat. I wasn’t too impressed with the app. It seemed kinda limited. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.

Small and rather good, not expensive, very happy.
Starting with the stuff I don't like: the controls are oddly designed and the piece of paper that describes how they work is not clear. They go to sleep after a bit and rather than pushing the pulsing power button, you have to do a weird swipe gesture across the unlit volume buttons and the power button to wake them up. Huh? Can't I just press the power button? Why did they go to sleep anyway? The controls are kind of annoying, but that's it. I control the volume from an external DAC so I won't use them much anyway. The sound itself is impressive for how small they are. I had tried PreSonus Eris 4.5s and Pioneer DJ DM-50Ds prior to these. The PreSonus were absolutely horrid as they had a constant hiss no matter what you did with them, even if nothing was connected. Those things went right back in the box after a day. They sounded nice, but that hiss was a straight dealbreaker. The Pioneers are studio monitors and not very enjoyable; very flat, meant for work, not play. These Edifiers are VERY enjoyable and produce a wonderful sound despite being very small. With the PreSonus and the Pioneers, I felt like I had to tweak EQ settings to the limits to get any low-end out of them unless they were at high volume. These tiny guys won't produce astonishing bass, but they produce a good full sound at all volume levels. If you've never had speakers this small, you will be very surprised at how well they handle low frequencies and how effortlessly they do it. I'm going to add a subwoofer as I like a full sound, but I think for a lot of people, these would be more than sufficient for desktop use. They're connected to a FiiO K11 R2R DAC and I'm very pleased at the clarity and performance. I'm no audiophile, but I can tell what's good from what's not. These are good. Are they great? Maybe someone else who can use fancy audiophile words can say, but these meet my primary requirements. They're small, they look reasonable, they sound miles better than most cheap speakers that are marketed as 2.1 systems from Logitech or even Klipsh. I'm sure someone could write a novel about all the reasons that they're bad or why you should spend $1000 on a pair of KEFs, but for those of us who want something good without going broke, these are a fine choice.
