Works good

Seems a good product , but has 2 pins for wire harness not the 4 I needed. Also the gasket not beefy enough to hold it in on my car.

As other reviewers have noted, this product has 2 electrical contact pins, but is being sold as a replacement for a part that has 4 pins and a different size/shape plug body.I lucked out, because I only needed a new o-ring and bought this product to get a new sensor for just a couple bucks more than a new o-ring alone. I used the o-ring from this item and reinstalled my old, but still working, sensor.Had I needed a new sensor, this seller's incorrect product description would have been a very frustrating waste of money and time.

Looks like a decent sensor, but does NOT fit a 2003 VW Jetta GL 2.0L. The original sensor has a larger connector and (4) prongs inside. This sensor has only (2) prongs. Had to put the original back in.

Plugs in just fine but after turning on the car the coolant fans run full blast. This sensor is faulty, my oem one works perfectly fine. Now i have to waste my time returning this product.

does not work or function as temp sending unit for Mk 5 gti.

Works as expected in my 2010 VW golf 2.5. Although in my case the old gasket seemed to be a better fit than the new one. Your mileage may vary.

Yes I’m glad to say this product is doing what it’s supposed to. Relatively easy to install...I put it on my 09 Tiguan.

Didn’t fit my car I needed the green one instead of the grey one.

Works just as it should had no issues.
